Hey guys! After further playtesting and reading your comments, Mother is definitely the better egg to go for! To replace the Ukkomons I was thinking of going for Sistermon Blanc (ST12-12) and probably some Kiyoshiro Higashimitarai (BT9-086) instead of Hiros!
Have you considered running BT9-082 Ordinemon to DNA 0ff two sovereigns since they're dual with purple and yellow? I could be missing something but it could be interesting.
@@AVAULT all due respect, you genuinely don't need an extra draw engine. The Devas do it well enough by themselves. This deck honestly doesn't want to choke the opponent. It's very much like a going second Yugioh deck because of all the hand-traps we run.
I have been playing the deck a lot since release, and in my opinion Mother is better than ukko for 2 main reasons. Mother will always be there if needed, your best turn 1 is mother into 1 cost option, so with ukko you depend on having ukko in 1st hand, or you cant use the option. Personally, i prefer running removal options (crimson and heavens judgement) just beause they can give you the extra turn you need to win the game.
yes. Mother d is the best egg for this deck. She doesn't only allow for chokes when comboed with Loyalty. She also gives your Sovereigns protection from , and is the best target to swing with EX4 Antylamon's . The most important thing about Mommy, though, is the fact that you can get her out of the Breeding Area by herself, freeing up space for the Devas to get played there faster than any other egg in the game.
@@rodhgaralto This list is very off brand for the deck. For starters, EX4 Antyla is a 4 of, mandatory. Second off, his ratios are all kinds of jacked up because he wanted to try and force in the Demimera/Ukko engine.
So I got second at my locals last week with this deck. My only loss was to gracenova rush, which is one of the deck’s best matchups this format, but I bricked terribly. A few thoughts from testing all weekend: Blanc is nice in theory, but I never had a situation come up where I had the memory to play it and play a deva afterwards and it’s much better to have a devs on board than not. Mother D Reaper is so good for raid/alliance and loyalty. Also Baihumon is pretty lackluster in every fast matchup except Anubismon. You basically have to digivolve into it before they go into Anubis or you will lose to Anubis popping your level 5s every turn. Ebonwumon is very underrated, but it’s one of the best imo. You have to play heaven’s judgment in this deck. If you don’t, you just auto lose to most decks if you don’t see fanglong fast enough. Kyoshiro is definitely better than Hiro, but Hiro is needed for you to reliably play crimson blaze unfortunately.
Thanks for the guide for this god tier digimon jajaja, i like to use the option blue card, with loyalty i can check 3 card and decide if they go to the bottom or top, nd if i have a deva o sacred beast i can evolve them easy, many game i play fanglongmon that way and man it almost jiji well play. Maybe i'm to inexperienced, but wouldn't Mimi Tachikawa (BT1-089) be an Option for a tamer? Because if you play heavens judgment too, she would also alows you to play the card without a yellow digimon.
Why would you want more than 2 copies of each deva in a deck that only cares for same name? you would break yourself if a lot of copies of the same one came out.
I feel like sinduramon is the only one you’d want three of because of the decoy, what confuses me is the 1 baihumon, it’s much better than zhuqioamon or ebonwumon
@@biogoji8975 I feel like baihiu it's pretty situational, if someone is hitting like 2-3 checks, then You can exploit baihiu, but Even in those cases, is better to remove a lvl5 or delete a 6k (or deva/four cardinal for the mirror) or keep something suspended.
@@donarcangel1997 honestly I disagree, even with one check the chance of hitting a deva is pretty high and can open you up for more ace plays, both only that baihumons on deletion can hit a broader range of targets
You can hard play the one already in trash and then place one that’s not already in trash to raising still though so 3 of a couple of the better ones isn’t terrible.
You actually don't want as many differently named Devas as possible, because you can always hard-play a deva who's name is already in trash to get a deva in the breeding area that isn't in play/trash. What matters more are the ratios you have for the deck. Having too many differently named Devas destroys consistency. Best ratio for this deck that I have found are 6 copies of Red devas, preferrably 2 of each, 10 copies of Black Devas, 4 Caturamon, 3 of each chimken and Monke, 2 copies of the Dragon, 4 copies of Ex4 Antylamon, 0 green ex5 devas (because they have the worst inherits)
Calling Azulongmon the best of the 4 Sovereign Aces? No fam. Zhuq is the 4 of. Also.... running Ukko, BaihuAce and the green devas from this set is a genuine WASTE of deck space. With those 4 slots, you can run 2 more Zhuqs, 1 more Ebon, 2 bt9 Baihu, 1 more ex4 antyla, and 2 copies of Monkey, which is the best deva in the mirror match. Also.... Mommy D is protection against . It's the main reason we use it in this deck. The Sovereigns are all 12k. Mommy is 15k, so she can protect them from getting ed into, which helps mitigate our biggest weakness: [Overflow-4]. Final thing.... CATURAMON IS THE DOG. MIHIRAMON IS THE TIGER.
Gennai is an okay-ish tech option for the deck, but Analog Youth is the best tamer. A better substitute for a budget-minded player would be Meiko from bt9 since she can grab literally every member of the Sovereigns and Fanglongmon, and she's only 10 cents a copy compared to AY's $5 a copy ($10 to $75 when taking about AAs)

For my tamer I've been using "Gennai" his ability to move digimon from the breeding area has been quite useful to me

Mimi would be nice, but the only thing is that there are not enough Green Digimon in the deck to help trigger the second effect consistently.

@donarcangel1997 the black devastating with blocker and decoy make sense at three. Other than those two, I wouldn't place more than two in the deck.
