The bottom of the hull where the tracks are one stud off to the back on your model. Plus we can move a 1x5 plate from the inside to the edge where the 5 slopes are to fill in the gap.
Perfect colour for a Sherman! Now we need a 1/28 Sherman in this colour
And also in 1:35 scale :)

In my opinion the first 1/48 Easy 8 looks better, they seemed to have shifted the hull forwards on the chassis on this new one, and it looks really strange.
Edit: I just googled pictures of this set and the reason the hull looks like it's been shifted forward is because it is, you seemed to have placed it 1 stud further forward than where it's supposed to be.

Despite the obvious issue with the treads on these downscaled models they still make fantastic display models for the budgeted in both money/shelf space. Would actually love for the Maus to get the same downscaled treatment some day.
A really nice color for the sherman looks more accurate

Somethimg went wrong. From -1.44 You can spot that upper part of hull is moved 1 stud forward according to lower part of hull

Certainly a big departure from the boring army green of earlier 1:48 scale sets. Also a good amount of detail too, considering the scale
Now all you need is tiger 131 and you've got a movie seen.
I think I have almost the same Sherman. Mine lacks the MG on top and the MG next to the main gun. Really good set for the size.

I know im late but I notcied that you can use that green extra piece used in 3:15 and connect it to the side of the top machine gun and make it look like an ammo box since it doesnt come with one

you have a lego tank? Was definitely not a simple moc, Lego doesn't really have the right bricks and colors for it. It's much easier with Cobi bricks
because your table is too slippery because some products works well on rough things(and still keep in mind your vids make me make Lego things
It's slippery because it's acrylic to avoid scratches and for easier cleaning. There are tanks that work absolutely perfect on that surface, even with the smallest tracks. So it's possible. Most tanks work on a carpet. That's easy and don't need to be tested. Only the best builds will work on slippery surfaces, too.

Its a damn shame that just about every sherman cobi makes, the running gear doesn't work on just about any surface. It really stinks because the sherman is my favorite tank 😢
