It’s incredible, isn’t it? Mexico has so much to offer, from modern conveniences like ETN to its rich culture, warm communities, and stunning landscapes. If you’re seriously considering making the move, we highly recommend visiting first to explore different areas and get a feel for the lifestyle. Let us know if you have any questions - we’d be happy to share tips from our experience living here!
Last time a travel by bus was 2007, and I remember they had a little coffee station in the back near the bathroom. Hot water, instant coffee and tea. Idk if they have that these days
Don’t know if that same coffee station is still there, but we saw bakeries and coffee shops. There are many more food options these days. Thanks for your comment!
Great review! We recently traveled from Morelia to CDMX and arrived at the same bus terminal. That terminal is in waaayyy better conditions than the terminal 1 at the airport (AICM) 😮
That was very helpful, thank you! I'd love to know more about arriving into CDMX & then getting to the ENT terminal to travel to San Miguel de Allende. Thanks
Our pleasure! It looks like ETN only goes to Querétaro from the Mexico City Airport. You have two options: (1) Take the bus to Querétaro and then a taxi or Uber to San Miguel de Allende, or (2) Take a 7-stop metro ride, a taxi, or an Uber to the Mexico Norte bus terminal, where you can catch a bus directly to San Miguel de Allende. Be sure to also check out Primera Plus as an alternate bus company and compare schedules. Happy travels!
@@AandFBeyond Thank you so much! Your property looks amazing! I'm going to a conference and need to stay on the property - too bad, but maybe next time.
Buses were old with few options but by 1990 because of new regulations. Service change in dramatic way with buses with new technology. So, new services started: first class, plus, and luxuri. Originally idea of ETN was play competition with airlines, in fact, whent it's service started, its commercial says "service of airplane by land"
Totally agree! ETN really sets the bar high when it comes to comfort and quality. Even their single-level buses are a cut above the rest. Glad to hear you’ve had a great experience too!
There are several applications for the roads of Mexico that warn you of accidents along the way. That way they can take alternate routes and the time on the road does not expand.
@@AandFBeyond Waze, Google Maps and GN Carreteras”, where users are provided with official, validated information in real time, on incidents that affect vehicular traffic on federal highways and their possible alternatives.
Thank you for the informative video. My wife and I intend to take a bus from San Miguel to CDMX in early February. Primera Plus has a more convenient schedule, and the price is similar, so should I assume similar service/dependability/comfort, or is there a specific reason you use ETN? Also, you mentioned taking the Metra from the bus station; however, I have read luggage is not allowed on the Metra. Is this correct? Thank you!
primera plus has slightly narrower seats in a 2-2 configuration compared to ETN’s 2-1. Also, they are not double-decker, which is not a big deal. Other than that, Primera Plus is an excellent alternative. The metro will allow luggage. Depending on how much you have, you might choose to take an uber or taxi to your accommodations. Just be sure you don’t arrive during the week at rush hour. You could get stuck in traffic. Are you looking for accommodations in SMA by any chance? Look us up! Our inn’s page is in the description. Have fun!!
Friends, the federal government take pride of keeping the buses and bus station new and clean, is something is not right? they get a very haffty fines, some buses are double decker and very luxurious, better than most airlines, with snacks, water for free,

My wife ate unos taquitos de suadero and I had to shot a very strong medicine to stop the 🤮 by the way never eat tacos at “Tacos Papi” in León, Gto. we always felt funny after eating ther and las time she ate the suadero and it was terrible 😞
Once Antonieta’s brother came to visit from the States. On the way, he decided to stop at KFC for lunch, and he spent the rest of the visit in bed with food poisoning! You never know what’s going to affect you. Thanks for the tip about the restaurant in Leon!

I am a traveler of Mexico I have not taken ETN but I have taken Primera Plus, both bus lines except Service dog's. I travel with a service dog and would like to use busses more but Both ETN and Peimera don't go every place in Mexico, I got stuck in Queretaro and Had to fly to Veracruz. because ADO the most used bus in Mexico doesn't allow service dogs. I find this frustrating because Mexico has a law that says all service dog's are excepted in all public places. I just visited the largest Pyramid in the world and with all paper work in order he was welcome. After I'm heading to Orizaba and Cordaba Not sure how I will get there, I will have to start looking into that. Any help on buss lines that allow service dog's let me know. 😎
