I'm a white American Christian, and I just wanted to say that I love this video. If there is one thing *I* could say to the Muslim world, it's that I am so inspired by the message of peace, kindness and righteousness in the Qur'an. I also admire the strength so many Muslims display in the face of such stupid and often very cruel prejudice worldwide. We are all brothers and sisters in the eyes of God. And one day that will be not just in God's eyes, but our own. Assalam alayNA.
Despite my parents ridiculous outlook on Islam, i am still very determined to convert to Islam, learn to speak arabic, and it is my dream to go to an Islamic school in the middle east. It is my life's pursuit to help those who are oppressed and to help the people of the middle east, and of the world, who are being persecuted for no reason at all. I am still very young, but i feel in my heart of hearts, that i am meant to be a follower of Islam.
It made me cry watching this. I'm not different. I'm a Caucasian Australian revert, and suddenly everyone thinks i've changed to something bad. I'm still the same me.
Moved me so much. I had a tear in my eye. I have muslim friends and I hate how people automatically think of terrorists when they think of Islam. Im an atheist, working class, English, white boy and I wish that more people would see Islam for what it is.
I watched this as part of my Arabic Humanities course. It made me cry, because too many people hate all Muslims and it's just based on ignorance. They are afraid of what they know nothing about. Maybe if they took the time to learn about and speak with even a few, they would see how ridiculous they are being, I have many Muslim friends, dated a few, lol, and they are among the most loyal of my friends..I am Christian and religion clearly says that we shouldn't hate anyone yet people of my religion can hate 1.8 billion people because of their religion. I just want to say that I don't and the world needs less hate. Perhaps if we loved a little bit more, the world wouldn't be the mess that it is.
This song is a perfect reminder to us, as Americans, that the Islam faith is not what we have perceived it as throughout the years. Islam is everything that Christianity stands for-love, peace, and eternal happiness.
I also want to add that Kareem Salama is one of my FAVORITE Country SIngers. His music has sooo much meaning. I play all of Kareem Salama's music to all my Jewish and Muslim friends.
This was a turning point for me. I realized that no one would help me in my quest to learn about Islam. I did it secretly and on my own. I asked global teachers what i could major in to learn more about Islam and the middle east and i watched broadcasts online that preached the peace that is Islam. The more i learned. the more i desired to become a part of. It has been years since i have first developed a pasion for Islam and my pasion is growing ever still.
The more i read about Islam, its teachings and its pillars, the more happiness, the more warmth i felt. As i got older, i got more determined to learn about it. Also as i grew, i realized that catholicism wasn't answering all my questions about a greater power. Despite the fact that i attended a catholic school, it wasn't providing me with answers that my heart seeked. Once i hit junior high school, i was sure i had the urge to convert to Islam
I'm being raised as a catholic, but in my heart, it doesnt seem like the way. I've been intrested and amazed and inspired by Islam for such a long time and i dont know about how to become one
I visited Saudi Arabia on business late last year, and I had a wonderful experience. This video shows what I re-learned in Saudi Arabia: we're all humans. Be our beliefs Christian, Muslim, Jewish, or something else. Most people are good, honest people that want to be happy with their families. We spend far too much time and effort discussing what makes us different and not enough discussing the many similarities we share. Great video.
as a muslimah and hijabi this song really touched me.. i know was supposedto be a bit funny but showes that we r no differnt and we should strive to be great human beings.. let us live as we are born to live as muslims.. may allah reward the maker of this video. jazak allah khair
Beautiful! That's how you send a message defending your religion. Personaly, I dont have or believe in religion, but who am I to say I'm right and your wrong. I have always respected peoples beliefs. I expect them to respect mine. After watching so many negative Muslim messages, that was a breath of fresh air
haha we had to do a respose to this video in school today and i wrote I learnt that muslims can listen to any music they like not just religious ... even JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE :) and after watching this 10 times i couldn't hold it in and started crying after we had filmed the response
You are a fantastic person for making this video, may Allah reward you generously. You've also amazing filming and editing skills. I wish we could see more like this all the time, because it genuinely paints a picture of the true Islam. We are human, this is what we believe, accept us. Thank you again, almost brought tears to my eyes.
I also have a cousin in the Navy who works with nuclear submarines. As far as you asking me where my loyalties lie, I see no issues/contradictions with being a Muslim AND supporting the Constitution. I am an American through and through, and nothing's going to change that. Peace and God bless.
My sister's friend was from Somalia and was a Muslim. Her friend was the only one that stuck up for her, because she was bullied in school by a lot of her classmates. Anyways, her friend moved away and they drifted apart. But, she can't stand it with all the fuss people give Muslims. And, they make mistakes just like all of us. There's no such thing as perfection.
Once i entered sixth grade, i was happy to see that many Muslim children attended my school. I asked them many questions, about Islam and how to convert. My mother and father unfortunately still thought Islam to be radical, so when they noticed i started buying books about Islam, and noticed i had Muslim friends, they sent me to a catholic school for the remainder of my schooling years. while attending saint lucy school in the bronx, my priest was far from helpful in answering my questions.
anyone can convert to Islam. All you need is sincerity. I have been Muslim for 7 years, but I was raised Baptist. There are converts from all walks of life and when you become Muslim all your previous sins are forgiven and you are as sinless as a brand new baby.
I am not Muslim but I have a sister who is and I see how she and her husband and kids live their lives together. This is not propaganda -This is the real deal before the fundamental extremists hijacked something beautiful...
Fabulous!! People of all religions tend to form an "Us vs. Them" mentality, and it's good to be reminded that we are ALL human and ALL God's children (regardless of what name you call Him). EVERY religion has its kooks and jerks, just as EVERY religion has its beautiful examples of spirituality and love and compassion. Let's focus on our similarities, not our differences!
Salam Alaykoum brother: This is a great video!!! Masha'Allah! I am a Muslimah and have to deal with prejudice daily as I wear hijab. This video made me happy. Shokran!! Salam
Islam = Religion = 宗教 = الدين Islam = Way of life = 生命の方法 = طريقة حياة Islam = Peace = 平和 = السلام Islam = Respect = الإحترام Islam = loving = المحبة I♥LOVE YOU ALL FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH ♥
Awesome video! Please keep going, you give me hope that the world might sometime understand that we're just as human as they are! Thank you, Jazakum Allahu Khayran and PLEASE keep it up!
I'll be more then happy to tell you. It started in 2001. I was still extremely young when the 9/11 attacks took place in new york city. But i was old enough to realize that, The religion of Islam was being misinterpreted. My parents and the people around me started talking about how Islam was a radical and crazy religion.I was determined to prove them wrong. After that, i spent my time taking out library books about the middle east and Islam. It amazed me, in every single aspect.
Asalaam Alaikum I totally agree with you that the media is behind all the hate. I want you to know I am not a Muslim but a fellow brother who worships the true God. My church practices not eating pork, not drinking, no immodest dress, etc. I want you to know there are Americans who live like God has instructed. I would love to speak with you. Jason Flower
People in my city are not friendly toward Muslims -- at all. I must admit that growing up where I did has left me unwilling/unable to strike up conversation with Muslims in my community -- not because i dislike them, but because I've been taught they're so different from me and won't like me talking to them. I feel differently now. Thanks for pointing out something which should have been obvious from the beginning -- WE ARE ALL HUMAN. High praise to the creator of this video! Well done.
I like this and it doesnt just show what muslims would say, it also shows that we are JUST human and somtimes ppl need to chill out a bit and realize that-
I don't get beaten...and I bow down to no man, I only bow down to GOD. Yes, men are physically stronger than women, so they are expected to PROTECT US. However...God made women smarter, so just give up already ;)
I'm a white American Christian, and I just wanted to say that I love this video. If there is one thing *I* could say to the Muslim world, it's that I am so inspired by the message of peace, kindness and righteousness in the Qur'an.

Anyone here in 2024?
I'm not a Muslim, but this is a wonderful video. It has so many positive statements in it that all faiths can learn from. Thanks for making it.

This is such an awesome video. I love how the Qur'an gives messages of peace that bring me to tears...
Love it! I laughed and related to a lot of this! I'm Christian.
