That is an adorable dog! Is it a labradoodle? He looked very handsome with his bow. I might try later to make one for my dog. But I'll have to put it at the back of the collar, for a girl. Thank y'all. 💗😊💗
Great video! But I am confused, it requires a 2 x 10 strip of fabric. But you don’t mention what happens to it and what is the measurement for the center tie tab? I’m assuming the 2 x 10 cut in half? Sorry for my confusion. But please advise. Thank you!!
Here's a reply from Julia, our blog manager: "The 2 x 10" strip of fabric is for the center tab. You will wrap it around the center of the bow tie and trim it down to the length you need -- probably only about 2" long, so there will be extra unused fabric. Then you hand sew it in place. In the video, you'll see this strip at 3:59." Hope this helps!
This is really cute! Do you happen to have any cutting dimensions for small and medium-size dogs? I'd like to make several of these as gifts but need to make them all different sizes. Thanks.
Love the bow, best one yet! The dog is beautiful too. Thank you!!!
Love this video! Best one so far!!!
Tim is looking suave and ready to showoff his new bow wow bow tie! Handsome!!
Absolutely the best of 70 others I’ve studied!!!
Great tutorial. Made one for a Standard Poodle 🐩.
I love this tutorial. I was looking for one with elastic. I can't wait to make some bows.
Omgosh that dog is so precious!

Very cute...the bow too 😂💐
Thank you a well done video and the bow tie is very professional looking. What kind of iron is that you are using?
would be great if you gave measurements for other size dog, such as med/small/and extra small
Love this tutorial! Thx!

Makes perfect sense. Thank you so much!! Love this video!!
Ok so is this the same size bow regardless of the size of the dog?
My jute tie did not hold . So, I sewed it down then wrapped the center with the 2” fabric and used fabric glue vs sewing and it worked perfect.

What is the 2”x10” strip for. I find I don’t have enough fabric to fold when making the wrap for around the middle of the bow.
It is the part that wraps around the middle of the bow. You won't need the full 10". 2" x 4" should be enough.

Do you have the size for a smaller bowtie, maybe one size smaller than the one shown?
Do u have the sizes for smaller bows?
you also have a mat where you have your iron would you please share what that is?
This is just a simple homemade ironing board. We took a piece of wood, stapled batting around it, and the stapled fabric on top.
that is for a big dog I have a small one...😥
What is the Clapper?
Machine washable?
Hi Stephanie, No, it would probably not be a good idea to run this through the washing machine. Spot clean as needed.
