- Minecraft 1.19 Java & Bedrock Edition. This clay Farm is easy, semi automatic and makes clay renewable! In this video, I show you how to build a very easy, starter renewable clay farm that will make 500 clay blocks an hour. This is a semi-automatic clay farm allows you to use dirt as a starter block which is converted to Mud, which is than dried out to make clay. This will work in both Java and Bedrock Editions. This was recorded in the 1.19.1, I hope you enjoyed this Minecraft easy auto clay farm tutorial. Once again this works on Bedrock Edition and Java Edition.

Hey Ken, haven't seen a clay maker video, till now, will probably make this one too, in the near future. I watched your sheep farm video, I got the redstone to work on bedrock. No observer's, a repeater and some more redstone. You can even add one more dropper which brings the chest to ground level. Then you move one half of the chest that isn't connected to the dropper and place it against the building. Puts the chest flush with the building and facing the same way as the sheep. Just wanted to let you know and say Thank you for your design and video.
Can someone explain to me how the water works or should work?
Bedrock users: To fix the water system, use a redstone torch instead of the note block. Also, place a upper half slab above the spot where you place dirt blocks. This will stop the dirt from towering when auto clicking.

I really like the idea of using the torch and block combo in place of the observer to fire the pistons. That's clean! I picked up a few more of your redstone ideas also. This is the kind of content I like! Great video! Subbed and thank you!

I just made this in Java 1.21. It works amazingly! I would highly recommend adding a slab over the top half of the block above where you put the dirt in. That will prevent you from stacking extra dirt on top when the machine I'd full.

It worked for a bit and the dispenser that launches water bottles start to give bottles instead so dirts don't turn into mud
Anyone got a fix for the watering system? BAsically quicker and less time consuming to make mud by hand instead of collecting all the bottles and dirt that spit out everywhere :/
when i fill it all with mud the only manual part is collecting clay itself right?
I build this, and it is not working. I am on bedrock version. I read were you are suppose to use a redstone torch instead of a note block, so I did do that. My piston shoots out, but wont come back in. Any idea why it is not working?

Still works like a charm. Leading off with a demo, listing materials, and defining the build's footprint are the hallmarks of a good tutorial and this one nailed it. More should follow this example. However, I should note that the footprint's dimensions should've included the space to the side for the stairs and space underneath. The water dispensing system is quite handy, too
It sounds like your water dispensing system works. No one else seems to. Can you give details on yours? The one in the video doesn't to refill bottles.
I really liked the way you used to do your videos. I even liked all the Fantasticks. It showed enthusiasm and enjoyment. And before the video you would give a list of everything, and I mean everything you needed to make the build. Your videos are still good, But not as good as your old ones. Stil though I want to thank you for your help.

Great videos all your builds all ways work for me only one build I could not get working and it was probably due to me incorrectly marking redstone chunks zone or update that broke will like the video for you
Ah it was the horse garage had issue with the clocks under the rails but was building way out in middle of nowhere in the end so lot of my builds there gave me trouble every time I updated the redstone flying in 😂
About halfway through using it, mine started leaving random bits of dirt not converted to mud, and it was spitting out empty bottles onto the ground.
Same here, no clue why... I followed the tutorial exactly...
Other people on my server had the same issue. We suspect it was the 1.20 update@@lordmalkom1675

Is it fine if I put the drip stone on top of dripstone blocks? I’m not sure where I went wrong but I can only turn 6 blocks into mud before it just stays as dirt
Thats a problem of the water bottle dispense system i would say.
Not sure which but maybe try to recheck the build up of the system.
Not turning them into mud sounds like your water bottles do not get dispensed properly.

Why does it spit bottles and not refill them? Then the blocks don't get changed to mud every time.
did you use dropppers or dispensers? You have to use dispensers
same thing its ruined everything, its not refill them, already 3 hours of trying with many of such farms

It still works
The hardest part is clearing out the wood from converting the moss into dirt.
I tried making this but my dispenser spits out water bottles instead of watering the dirt :( The refilling system works great though!
same issues. I don't know why but the farm is very inconsistent, sometimes it waters the block but also spit a bottle. Also the Water used as mean to transfer bottle doesnt' look good, sometimes the bottles will just float without going to the hopper
could you show us how we could make this into a mud farm?
Excluding the dripstone should turn it into a mud farm.
Is there a way to stack this farm on top of each other?
Just duplicate the entire thing above. Make sure you have enough room between the bottom of the one above so that you can go around and gather the clay. The roof becomes the floor for the one above. Then, just build the second one as if the floor is the ground. I have one that is currently at the third level, and working towards 5. The biggest issue with these farms is really just gathering the dirt.

For me it ain't working after six blocks. After those six, it just shoots empty bottles. Im on Java. I tried to replace the note block with a RS torch, but nothing changed.
Need a fix for this! I just built this whole thing for it not to work.

Okay. I think I figured out why some of you (and me) have been having problems where it works for just a short time, then it starts throwing empty bottles all over the place. In the works there is a hopper that feeds a dispenser, which is on top of another hopper that feeds a other dispenser. I had mine working right but then I messed up what was in them and it caused the type of problem you are reporting. So here's what I had to do.
The top hopper that I mentioned, that's not a big deal. It can be empty or have a water bottle in it.
The dispenser that is fed by that hopper must be filled with water bottles.
The hopper that is under that dispenser MUST have 3 empty bottles in one slot and one non related item (I used dirt, but it could be any item other than a water bottle or empty bottle) in the remaining 4 slots.
The last dispenser must be filled with empty bottles.
Once I fixed this, it went back to working the way that it should and hasn't broke again since. I hop this helps.

yes it works on console and I actually redesigned the new mega potion station and the tutorial is in the works

give the full list of items yours gonna need next time. had me running back and fourth for the extra hopper and the botton.
You could watch the whole video first so you know what you need before you start.

there is an issue with your farm. the bottles dont refill after a couple uses. give us some help here dude.
lucky i built this first in a creative world so I didn't make the mistake of building it in survival, it doesn't work.
