Buratto diventerà un Grande del XXI secolo. Torno spesso su questo video e non riesco a non commentare ancora la grandezza di questo giovane che porterà lustro al nostro meschino Paese. 👋 da Roma
Amazing toccata performance. Live too. It’s very hard to play at tempo I think Ravel wrote 144 and that is probably too fast but it still should be very brisk and this is at the high end of what I’ve heard and this was fantastic!
Recordings of the orchestral version are easy to find, but the original piano version has very few options in spite of the attention it deserves, as this marvelous performance shows beyond all doubt.
Kein mehr vorhabener, einartiger Komponierer- ist ein Heiliger geworden, von Iduna oder Hesperethusa (Waoia in Ur-Frankisch); einer die Edele und Grosse Seelen auch....
Not really - he’s doing pretty much exactly as Ravel indicates in the score with the pedalling, it’s an hommage to Couperin, not an imitation and the neo-classicism extends more to the form and Baroque suite structure than anything else.
Wonderful performance !! And I love the bright and vivid sound of the Fazioli. Thank you !!
Ravel was one of the best 20th C composers.
For sure.
that prelude is so light... amazing, first time i hear it played so well...
Some of the best music ever, and played beautifully.
Wonderful playing
Composizione incredibile, pianista straordinario!
Resto incantato a guardare le mani che si muovono sulla tastiera. Quanto lavoro c'è dietro questa meraviglia. Un saluto da Roma.
OMG! Maestro....it's as though God opened a door! Thank you....thank you...thank you!
One of my favourite pieces and now one of my favourite performances! Thank you! ❤
Breathtaking piece
Bravo! Un saluto da Seattle, USA!
Your performance is MAGICAL!

Well played. The bright passion shines through. I especially like bis rigaudon interpretation, breathtaking
Amazing Performance!!!
Bravo maestro!
So well played ! 🥺made me emotional
Wonderfully played. Wish I had a Fazioli so bad! Sounds absolutely amazing
Such delicate beautiful playing...BRAVO!
A great performance
Beautiful and wonderful to watch. Also, incredible composition from Ravel that I've not heard. very enjoyable.
Brilliant
¡Bravo!
I must say the Prelude and Menuet are my favorites. Being a Jazz fan, those sections are the most harmony, cadence based ii-V-I sections.

Yes 144 unrealistic, especially the last two pages. I’ve got it up to 120 and it’s plenty “brisk”😸

It scares most players away from ever doing in front of people
Die sehr schoene, einartige Musik- Thuqezethy Am Pakht (Noetische Erscheiner-Ins-Verspannen)...
Not bad.. why is man in one of those classroom chairs though?

Ravel, Heiliger von Hesperethusa....
well played - I recorded this prelude on my channel
Thuqezethy-Am-Pekht...
WAY too much pedal! This is neo-classical music and an hommage to Couperin! Listen to Igor Zhukov's 1969 recording.
