Freddie wrote this song in ten minutes while taking a bath in his hotel in Berlin. The idea came to him and he yelled for someone to bring him a guitar which he used to write the song. (Roger commented that he never understood how Freddie got that damn guitar in the tub with himself.) BTW the movie is not the true story of Queen. It is an accumulation of various true events and fictitious events arranged out of sequence to move the storyline along. For example, Queen NEVER broke up. They did take a break for a little over a year from performing and recording because they had been doing both for almost 15 years straight and they needed a rest.
