This was my first show What a trip taking the ferry to randalls island We of course bought some chocolate mushies off an older head haha "Never miss a sunday show"
I was here for this!! This was my first Phish show and they jammed so hard and blew my mind! It was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to and everyone loved each other and had the time of their lives and I saw almost every single person there invested in the show, either dancing or swaying their arms in the air.. such a great time!!!
God I love this Reba!! Thank you for capturing this! Truly a favorite of mine and am always coming back to watch/listen to it. It never disappoints putting a smile on my face 😊
bwhahahah. you are only referring to one of the 4 best guitarists to plunk them strangs. Trey, Jimi, Eric and Jerry. Of course he is good. He is a legend. They all are. Phish is the tightest four people to play together.
It’s funny watching this start where clearly Trey had something else on his mind and you can see the instant he hears the crowd chanting Reba and how quickly he decides to appease them. Great moment. Often the chant doesn’t work but on this occasion, Trey was game.
He definitely heard Tela being chanted, but wanted to mess around and play Reba bc is sounds similar and knows people would be happy with it anyway :) I was about 15 rows back, standing on the pavement and our whole section was jumping for joy as soon as he started the opening notes of Reba
That female voice you hear very prominently is my wife, leading our crew in chanting "Te-la! Te-la!" Of course, from that distance it's tough to discern consonants :). We've been calling it our Reba baby. And I'm still chasing that damn Tela...
From beginningless time to now-- to this -- to the endless eternity of what is after that, this here, there will never, ever by anything more WHITE than this.
I will preface this by saying I luv phish, BUT, do they even rehearse anymore? I know there stuff is technical and hard but I don't think I've heard a Reba where Trey hasn't screwed up the interlude in like 10 yrs. still a great version, and Trey rips the solo as usual.
+Mike V. Yeah but this solo really DID suck. Part of the interlude, Trey totally stops playing where he shouldn't. When you've been to the mountain, well, you simply know better.
+Paul Jasper Who cares. I go to the show, I have a good time and that's that. I let the overall experience carry me home. I'm not going to get bogged down in the minutiae. What's the point?
You can very clearly hear Tela before some of the crowd mishears it themselves and morphs it into Reba, which is what Trey heard when he looked at the crowd
Sounds like he was pushing himself in a specific direction here, and it was with some effort, and just as he's starting to get there Fish brings the jam to a close. Damn it.
Actually Trey's trill signals the end of the hose.. so Fish was just paying attention. And replying to people who say 'all over/ no mojo'... I think the band is just older now, practices much less obviously, and is playing more because they are musicians who have forged a great relationship as a band and less because they have something to prove. So while their business has been booming in terms of ticket sales, I think that even if they had zero audience they would still be playing music together. And I respect that.
The rest of the band has literally five seconds to reload for Reba. Simply amazing.
😆 it's true
Less than 5 seconds.
This reba rocks. Love how he gladly gave the audience what they wanted
A major rarity
Love when trey bonks his head on the mic at 9:23 he seems so startled by it 😂
He was so in the groove that he forgot his surroundings lol. Just kept playing hahaha
It scared him lol
I wish I could hit a “like” every time I listen to this. It would be like a thousand likes!

Trey clearly loves his music! I love him watching him perform!
God I love this Reba!! Thank you for capturing this! Truly a favorite of mine and am always coming back to watch/listen to it. It never disappoints putting a smile on my face 😊
Great Reba! love that Trey took it as a request... If you love this one, try Deer Creek 1995!
th-cam.com/video/n861757Irsw/w-d-xo.html
Great use of the whammy pedal on that solo
Best Reba. Absolutely perfect phrasing and sonic bliss
Trey killed this solo

God gifted!!!
14 people were unable to sell it to the butcher in the store because, while they bagged it, they neglected to tag it.
Poachers could only sell to the fence
anyone tag without bag?
they were saying boo-urns
I too would like to say this was a beautiful Reba.
Man I love you uploads. ESP when u que I’m on Trey like this . Incredible stuff. Can’t wait for next summer!
Whoa great Reba! Even could rival the NYE 95 version. I really dig the spontaneity.
beautiful
Very good!!!! Thank you
He is the coolest
@ 9:20 Trey bumps his head
that must have been embarrassing lele
Haaaaaaa!
It scared him. Poor guy
Haaaaa!
Reba is ALWAYS good
It has become my favorite phish song over the past 20 years.
Yes. Always. My 8 year old can’t get the song out of his head. I’m here now because we had to play it before bed ahahahaha
excellent call on his part!
Much love and light LL
Phish lyrics = merely an excuse to *jam*😆
Call and response
Love that cameraman over there 👌
All About the Building

Digging this shit right here now
this guitarist seems pretty decent :>)

Drummer too

And also there's page
.. xD
Cybil Silberman LMFAO at you putting Clapton and Jerry in your top 4. Zappa crushes those 2.
Best Band Ever
This jam is untouchable
there's some happy hands in this crowd. I wonder which ones are mine :P
Page on the rhodes killing it
Beautiful quality vid!
So phawkin awesome
One of he's best solos I think. Also Mike was on the song.
That’s was I was thinking. I was like “Mike is actually enjoying hisself.” lol
This is the Reba to end all Reba's
It’s funny watching this start where clearly Trey had something else on his mind and you can see the instant he hears the crowd chanting Reba and how quickly he decides to appease them. Great moment. Often the chant doesn’t work but on this occasion, Trey was game.
Terrific
I heard they were actually chanting for "Tela" but Trey misheard it lol
He definitely heard Tela being chanted, but wanted to mess around and play Reba bc is sounds similar and knows people would be happy with it anyway :) I was about 15 rows back, standing on the pavement and our whole section was jumping for joy as soon as he started the opening notes of Reba
Bobby Jae oh yeah cause all the Phish fans chant fucking Tela
we actually were chanting for Tela. It's my favorite song and I'd never heard it (finally got one in Hartford '16)
Worse reba performance I think I've ever seen. Mainly because of Trey solo. He fumbles around and really just no climax
Jon Earwood yeah it was terrible lol....not
Reba jam- 🐐
shoutout to the camera guy at 1:05-2:51 hats off to you sir
This band is a phenomenon recent to my world. So ... I'm probably not the first to liken them to FZ/Mothers. Just less of the sardonic edge.
what a fun venue...once that horse poop smell died down a bit
That female voice you hear very prominently is my wife, leading our crew in chanting "Te-la! Te-la!" Of course, from that distance it's tough to discern consonants :). We've been calling it our Reba baby. And I'm still chasing that damn Tela...
After almost 70 shows, I just got MY first Tela in Chicago and it was awesome! Good luck, Jake!
+Jake Cohen derpy pants...derpy pants!!!!! 11/30/91 harry hood...derp....
@@sneakypower576 got my tela in Hampton '18. Chase oooon
@@icculustheprophet8648 finally got mine in Hartford 2016, and then again in Hampton 18!
Wow? Pisces
The subtle minor suspensions at 9:41
I really wish they didn't put a commercial right in the middle.
Birds of a feather was next until the crowd say otherwise lol.
my first show!!!
Great Reba
SuperBall Reba was the Finest
totally a TELA chant, but i'll take Reba any day
MGnificent
Sweet
trey doin work
Amazing for him to do that.... even though I’m almost positive that they were saying “Tela.”
Jah herb Jah Jerry Jah trey Jah shrooms Tucson Arizona Sonoran desert 🏜 rastafar I 🇧🇴🇧🇯🦓🍄🍄🍄
Noggin, duuuuuuuuude.
Pizza man? Pizza tapes'. Meet Jake and I will play washboard one day for yalls band.

Dude how could you put ads in the middle of this. Have you missed the point that bad...?????
if they dont ask you and your family to move on than thats the problem with society
Bag it tag it selling to the butcher in the store
I turned my pheind in Sweden to Phish Dead Rasta. And.... His kids loved Reba. They would sing bag it tag it. Righteous. Kill
How do you even write this, let alone play it live so well?
I will preface this by saying I luv phish, BUT, do they even rehearse anymore? I know there stuff is technical and hard but I don't think I've heard a Reba where Trey hasn't screwed up the interlude in like 10 yrs. still a great version, and Trey rips the solo as usual.
god, you guys are insufferable.
Mike V. Lol true
Minutiae? Cute.
hand dancing is so ridiculous
Obviously screaming REBA....why do haters even comment
You can very clearly hear Tela before some of the crowd mishears it themselves and morphs it into Reba, which is what Trey heard when he looked at the crowd
Tray Antipasto needs some guitar lessons. Then maybe he can rock like Nickelback.
BS. All over. Trey lost his Reba Mojo. Sad
^the real has been
Sounds like he was pushing himself in a specific direction here, and it was with some effort, and just as he's starting to get there Fish brings the jam to a close. Damn it.

I'm Jeff Gribben and Phish is awful.
well there’s a reason we’ve heard of phish and no one has ever heard of jeff gribben
That’s gotta sting
Got emmmmm
