    Nicely done. I bought a 4 space carrying case and loop all the cables under the units. I can actually see all the knobs. The cables need to be longer and at right angles.

    You know I was actually considering getting a little 3 piece Volca setup including the mixer but WHAT A MESS OF CABLES 👀

      @VJFranzK  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that is a valid question. some people use 90 degree cables, and or run them under everything. Different boxes or pedal boards may support this arrangement

    Hi! Thanks for this video, it helps me a lot. Where can I find the B part? I'm having a hard trying to get it. Saludos desde Chile

    Yeah not enough channels. I would like to have seen 6, so I can have a full setup including non-volcano stuff.

      Valid criticism. You can alternately have a muti-power unit and converntional mixer!

    How do I connect my volcas to a speaker? Or monitors? Any suggestions.

    Before you plugged in the speakers, are all those black cables you made the cable spaghetti with the same type of cable? (Aside from the power adapter of the volca mixer) If they are, what is the name of that type of cable? I assume they’re sold in packs. Or do the volca boxes come with them?

    • @VJFranzK

      they're included, yes. and they're short!

    Great way to reduce 3 audio sources down to 2.

    Hi! Have you tested the send and return functionality? I have tested with both a guitar pedal and a Korg NTS-1 (for delay and reverb) and can only get the effected signal back into one side of the stereo image (same with headphone or RCA outputs). I've tried all the different possibilities of stereo and mono cables, it's always the same: the effect is applied to only one channel. What is the deal?

    • @VJFranzK
      @VJFranzK  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Havent used it, but maybe the send is just mono? since channel 1 and 2 are mono ( I'm often using the Aux In as a fourth mixer input! )

      @@VJFranzK The send seems to be stereo with just the signal on one side. Some crazy shit. I've seen people mention it in forums. Will do more investigating.

    Anyone know if I can plug and syncing with this mixer and a volca two pocket operator ? Ideally I would actually do this chain: volca keys, op-1, po-32
    Can i sync them throw the mixer ?

    • @VJFranzK
      @VJFranzK  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      read manual about how to do the synch on the PO, you can do it with regular audio cables

    what if u already have a master and want to run the midi out to the an input on the Volca Mixer? is that not an option.

    • @VJFranzK
      @VJFranzK  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah, not an option. I use a MIDI splitter to control my timing, usually. see other vids

    too expensive, you can get a 12 channel behringer mixer with 99 fx for around 1/2 the price of a volca 3 channel mixer

    • @VJFranzK
      @VJFranzK  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      true, but this is a nice intermediary between volcas and a full sized mixer, that's how i use it

    I ask you a question I made all the connections correctly but when I put on the headset I hear a raspy noise. it happens to you ?? On the other hand, when I connect the volca individually without the volca mix, it does not. the noise is like signal noise like a silent rain. thanks greetings

    • @VJFranzK
      @VJFranzK  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Perhaps your other mixer has a "cleaner" signal than the volca mix? There are also questions about power supply, like a "ground loop". search that for possible solutions
      Also, there are a lot of adjustments on the V Mix, you may be able to make it sound "better" to your ears by changing the knobs

    Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to record (DAW) from my keys/sample/mix? Could you give me some advice regarding an interface? Does it have to be 3 channels?

    • @VJFranzK
      @VJFranzK  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You only need 3 inputs if you want to record them at the same time. ; - )

    All those cables should possibly prevent you from using the devices lol

      You aren't wrong. The ones that come with the unit are just too short. I might buy a longer set from a third party

    Thanks for this video, but next time please low cut your microphone! Listening on headphones is like a subwoofer attack.
