agreed, battery packs have lasted multiple years and work in every controller so you can just recharge like a playstation controller but not be as restricted when it messes up

If the battery completely dies in the DualSense (as admittedly unlikely as that probably is), you'd have to replace the whole controller, as opposed to a pair of batteries or rechargeable battery pack.
Personally the size was never my issue with the xbox controller its just the asymmetrical analog sticks drive me nuts. You guys are gonna be missing out on Demon's Souls i feel bad for you for that

Another good thing about Xbox still using batteries is that when the charge packs eventually wear out you can just replace the charge pack rather than have to buy a whole new controller.

Remember when it comes to batteries in the controller, you can always keep the controller and you don't have to get rid of it once the rechargeable battery degrades or tear it apart to replace the lithium battery. It makes sense but I also understand it being 2020 lol.
There’s an interesting rift between PS5 and Xbox when it comes to third party games that makes it especially difficult to choose one. There’s a ton of third-party, non-exclusive games that just run better on the Xbox. A lot of games that are in 4K on Xbox are in 1440p on PS5. Some Xbox games have 120hz support when the PS5 version lacks them (I believe most of that is credited to games being easier to update for Xbox over PS5). But in the other camp, there’s a lot of great exclusives that are hard to beat.

Another good thing about Xbox still using batteries is that when the charge packs eventually wear out you can just replace the charge pack rather than have to buy a whole new controller.

Glad they went with AAs, the internal batteries on the PS controller have always degraded quite quickly. Much easier just to swap batteries out.
not to mention when the PS controller runs out of power you have to stop playing and charge it.

I love that they kept the controller design, why change something that was already good. Same controller just updated a few things I like the controller.

There’s an interesting rift between PS5 and Xbox when it comes to third party games that makes it especially difficult to choose one. There’s a ton of third-party, non-exclusive games that just run better on the Xbox. A lot of games that are in 4K on Xbox are in 1440p on PS5. Some Xbox games have 120hz support when the PS5 version lacks them (I believe most of that is credited to games being easier to update for Xbox over PS5). But in the other camp, there’s a lot of great exclusives that are hard to beat.

I love consoles and the feeling of getting a console but PC's are just so much more convenient. Xbox doesnt have discord , easy to fill up the hard drive, pc you can just insert a new one, xbox app is already on PC, etc ,etc...
I like this design much more than the wifi router PS5. Like it's way too big and oddly shaped to comfortably fit into a specific space
