Excellent gun it a shame this gun is out of production, i recently purchased mine from an online auction and could not be happier. another option is to buy a .40 caliber XD and a Bar-Sto .357 sig barrel.

I got the same pistol it is a tack driver. It’s kinda bulky but it will shoot with the best of them that’s a guarantee. I heard the U.S. Marshals loved them best pistols they ever had.

Every time I shoot my original XD in 357 I ask myself. Why do I keep buying pistols? I'll keep buying but if I could only keep one this might be it.

I have an XD-40, and it's an absolute tack driver. I also have a Sig P229 40/357, and I'm about the same accuracy with either pistol. I think the XD does deserve some credit.

U would have to send your slide out to a company to have it milled out for one. Usually about $200 and they will cerakote it whatever color u want. Yes u can with a little time and money.
