Thank you very much Dr. This is wonderful. I wish you had a video like this at the beginning of each med topic in Picmonic. This was exactly what made me to buy it
These videos are pure gold!!! Thank you for taking the time to make challenging information understandable and easy to recall. Picmonics is the best and I’m so thankful I have it to prep for the NCLEX! 😁
I love Picmonic... I used it in nursing school and it helped along with other resources. I believe people should try many different learning methods especially when prepping for the NCLEX!
Thank you for your Channel. Omg I wish I have seeing your channel before when I have just started my nursing program. I am so bad on Remember all these medications but just by watching your videos Dr. it has been life changing. Thank you
this was so helpful for me (will see really when i take my exam) but i failed pharm once while also taking med surge one at the same time during an 8 week session. I've been trying different methods of studying. i don't think it's the pictures that really help me but the fact that you point out the specific things that will help you remember each specific drug. trying to remember every single detail the text book gives is surely too much to remember but you give key details that help you identify each drug. thanks

These are perfect. I am pre-studying pharmacology for my RN program. I'm not in the program yet but I'm studying all this now go get to get a jump start. And the videos are entertaining too!
I was taught in nursing school that you don't give cephalosporins to people with penicillin allergy (regardless of the type of allergy). Maybe your info about it being okay to give to someone who has only a mild hypersensitivity is more for a higher level of education-- eg, medical doctors or nurse practitioners?
Hi Heidi! Our medical scholars said they usually trial a cephalosporin for a PCN allergic patient. Here's an article to check out! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16451776/
How do people actually remember stuff with these picmonics? It seems to me trying to remember all the pictures that go with the meds would be more difficult to remember than the meds themselves! Thank you for the imformative med info though, definitely took notes. I guess people learn differently but I just don't get it lol
Hi there! Yes, we do! Our Medicine area of study has 1,042 Picmonics for Pathology! You can check out everything included here: www.picmonic.com/pricing/medicine
Question here: Can you take iron with Fluoroquinolones? Iron is a cation similar to calcium right? Wouldn't iron bind to the medication similarly how Calcium would?
I wish there was a comic book that went with this. Like a pop out book that looks like it should be for babies for is for struggling adults trying to learn pharm hahah
Your audios are always a bit low without headphones. Would appreciate if they could be recorded a bit louder. Grateful as always for the fun learning experience and quality content.
Great suggestion! The transcripts may be helpful if you haven't tried them already. If you click on "..." beneath the video and then "Open Transcript" you can view it there!
ehh I don't think this is my learning style. I will stick to Sarah because these pictures are confusing and you get off topic way too much and it distracts me
It was well-organized compared to other nursing presenters' antibiotic videos. He arranged things by class, and included basically all classes (which wasn't done by the other presenters).
Too many attempts at stupid jokes. The information is great, but it is really a distraction and a turn off when you waste people’s time trying to be funny when you are not.
I was put off by it at first, but now I don't mind it. I kind of like how all of the big nursing channel's presenters have different styles of delivery-- their videos sort of supplement one another. This antibiotic video was actually one of the most helpful I could find for review due to its going over major points from basically all antibiotic classes. This presentation was actually much more well-organized and thorough than the antibiotic videos done by Mike from Simple Nursing. And Sarah from Registered Nurse RN doesn't have any antibiotic videos at all. I found some other helpful ones, but this one was most comprehensive for general review.
Thank you very much Dr. This is wonderful. I wish you had a video like this at the beginning of each med topic in Picmonic. This was exactly what made me to buy it

Let's just say that while Pharm flashcards are about like eating sawdust, I love these videos--a refreshing and entertaining take on meds. Thanks!
You can do it!!

Happy to hear Picmonic was helpful to you!
thanks I'm going to join.
This has helped me so much its unbelievable! The pictures help to make you stop and think to what the med is and what it does. Thanks!!

Pharm and med surg at the same time sounds really hard! Happy to hear this video was helpful :)
In fall I will be taking pharm, med-surge, patho, and clinical at the same time. Any advice?
Are there any channels with videos like this for midwifery? I can't find any which is shocking

For me Im a visual learner thats why its easier with picmonics
The mental images can help me remember the sounds of the words (I do something sort of similar when learning a new language)
I love your lectures. Picmonics has been saving my life since pathophysiology 👍🏿
We're sooo happy to hear this!!
Hi picmonic do you have videos on pathology. I really loved this video of pharmacology. You are so great guys keep up.
