rating difference is so huge, time does not matter much. So he played 2 min blitz game with 5 sec increments, it is plenty , it is like to play simul .
What is interesting, kid played until mate, youngsters sometimes do that , but you hardly ever see Q+p against bare king endgame on official tournament. There was zero chance for stalemate if player of good level has 1.5 minutes and 5 sec increment.
Kasparov ages ago once stalemated with Q+B vs bare king ending vs Georgiev , but he had last seconds on clock and there was no increment back then, Georgiev played it on only in hope Kasparov would flag.
