Yes! Their highlighter is the only highlighter I've found that has a shade that actually looks good on my pale, cool toned skin! And it's not chunky & textured. Love it!

I love you, Lan! But I’d just like to say that I noticed you kind of “too critic” with some aspects of this low cost brand. I mean, it’s good that you’re honest and that you can review as most details as possible because that gives us a better idea of the product, but I’m not sure if you act the same way with the high end brands. You didn’t like that the primer contained fragrance but many or maybe ALL high end primers also contain it. Sephora is full of irritant products too, I have seen terrible super long and dangerous lists of ingredients in brands like “fresh”. I recommend you to check the channel of “Lab muffin beauty channel” where Michelle (a PhD in Chemistry) talks about several makeup formulas and how “chemicals” are actually in everything. Also dr Sam who is a dermatologist that talks about safer skincare.
I really love your content and style and I understand you’re more high end sided which is fine! But it’d be fair if you apply the same critic attitude to those luxury brands. Not because they’re more expensive means their formulas are exactly safer (unless we talk about dermocosmetic makeup, there I can trust more).

Yes exactly. I've never even seen her look at ingredients before but she just now decides to do it for drugstore? We don't need to make people feel like crap for only being able to afford drugstore makeup. Plenty of her high end makeup has ingredients she can't pronounce 🤷♀️
thank you for saying this!! I thought I was the only one that picked up on the fact that she was so critical of the ingredients in the wet and wild products but never does that for the high end brands....very weird behavior on her part and i'm a little annoyed at her for doing that.

Most products have a lot of “chemicals” - keep in mind that water is a chemical!
Yeah I don't understand why Beauty bloggers get all weird about "chemicals", I also wonder if they even understand the ingredients on products anyways, they're not chemists or anything like that. The whole thing sounds like fear mongering to me.
@manehbag That's not true though lmao. A little education is definitely needed here. Your skin does a really, really, really good job at keeping things from getting "absorbed in your blood stream". A little googling doesn't make you a cosmetic chemist, same with Allana.
and they always just mention chemicals when using cheaper makeup too as if Dior or whatever other fancy brands don't use them..
And they're chemicals known to work on skin unlike the all natural brands, natural does not mean good for you.

Olivia Hall Absolutely, and it’s drugstore. Seeing her so blown away at the quality makes me wonder if she really uses drugstore makeup, or just says she does. I never see her use affordable products on her channel. They are always bougie products.
Wet and Wild has a water cream primer that has the same technology as the Tatcha water cream, same result. You should actually try drugstore products. They do make colorful, unique shadows shades and have for many years now. Milani is a great brand to start with, or Colour Pop or Makeup Revolution.
I think the primer being referred to is the Photo Focus water drop primer. It's fantastic!
The dewy skin primer used in this video I think is more for dry skins - it's got oils as well as the shimmer to keep things very glowy. The water drop one is oil free but makes the skin look so plump and juicy and hydrated and gorgeous - makeup glides on like a dream.
@Dawn Baby the water drop primer has no glitter in it. I have normal skin and I can almost get away with it as a moisturizer, but it doesn't have oils in it, so it's more hydrating versus moisturizing. If you normally use an oil free moisturizer to add water back into dehydrated skin, you'll love this primer! If you use something more thick and emollient, you might have to use an additional moisturizer with this primer.

I’m so glad you did this I can’t wait to go try it now!! I actually really like the cushion foundation and the cream blushes and bronzers in the stick formula when I am am looking for just a quick, out the door, running errands type of day. Not the longest wearing foundation but fades well! Also the powders that look like they are a baked powder (the like raised, rounded tops) are beautiful, slight glow but not glittery at all, great for a powder foundation, to set makeup, even a darker shade for a bronzer/contour!
Ugh i love wet n wild!! Honestly I feel like you would LOVE their cushion foundation, it’s the prettiest finish and wears so well 💕💕

I love the wet and wild Dewey tinted primer! Looks great under bb cream too. And the finishing spray is awesome. Ill have to try that coconut water spray.
I'm so happy watching you get so excited about Wet 'n' Wild, because they are one of my favorite brands. Not just at the drugstore. One of my favorite brands out of ALL THE BRANDS! :)
Another blush shade of theirs that is really good is Rosé Champagne--super neutral, and barely more blushy than a bronzer, but it's gorgeous and has a sheen and goes with everything.
And it's true, their stickers on everything are SO ANNOYING to take off. HAHAHA.
Oh, and another couple of their products I would recommend are their liquid highlighters (I have it in "Halo, Goodbye" and love it!), their large pro powder brush (love it for all over bronzer or setting large areas), their pro precision setting brush (perfect for highlighting with), and their pro eyeshadow brushes.

I love the foundation so much that I ordered a backup after the first time I wore it, lol. You have to try the new Catsuit high shine liquid lipsticks and also their shimmery liquid shadows!

The Wet n Wild Photofocus concealers are great. I use a darker more peachy toned one to color correct and then a lighter one to highlight.

I luurrrve the photo focus concealer, it's lightweight medium coverage and works great as an eyeshadow primer too. Definitely worth a try if you can find it!
