Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time TH-camr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. I just want to make a correction...I know I said that the Wet n Wild Skin Tint didn't contain alcohol but as @20thcenturyrelic so kindly pointed out, it actually does have alcohol ( I'm not sure how I missed it) It's way down the ingredient list, so it's in lesser quantity than the Loreal and Maybelline skin tints, but it's still there. ❤️

Thanks Jen! The product has a very long ingredients list, so it's easy to miss something. Also to be clear, I'm not down on Wet N Wild for using alcohol. They're no worse for that than a lot of other brands at all price points.

Catrice just launched a similar tinted serum foundation today. It’s suppose to be alcohol free. I hope you can review that one as well. 😃 ❤

Yesssss, I read about the Catrice one & heard it spoke of on Pampered Wolf w/Gemma, I think 🤔 lol! Anyhoo, yes Jen plz review!! And @Trudee99, glad to hear about no denatured alcohol in it as well. I am 52, 53 in May. Normal skin, albeit mature(😏); I will digress that point, but dry as the Sierra just under my eyes. That may be a SLIGHT exaggeration but dry there nonetheless- I do not want anything that will cause further dryness. I’m trying to look not necessarily younger, but that I’m holding my own, not gong for Crypt Keeper vibes lolzzzz 😂 Love ya Jen, you ALWAYS do the hard work for us so we don’t have too 💄👏🏻💋❤️
Yay! I buy from Catrice online all the time! Their powder blushes, under eye concealer, lip products, and concealers are wonderful! The concealers are the best I’ve used and only $6 same for the under eye concealer/corrector is an exact dupe for the Smashbox/Becca one that costs $36 or $38. I just bought a beautiful highlighter from them and it’s gorgeous! 🥰
@@lisasanders4818 I have very dry, sensitive skin with rosacea, and any amount of alcohol is a complete dealbreaker for me in skincare and makeup products. To be clear, I'm talking about alcohol, aka isopropyl alcohol/denat alcohol/alcohol denat/SD 40 alcohol, NOT fatty alcohols which are great moisturizing ingredients.
That said, if you're not extremely dry and sensitive, and if alcohol isn't at the top of the ingredients list, say one of the first 4 ingredients, there's probably not all that much in a product. My understanding is that cosmetic chemists add it to foundation because it makes it easier to spread on the face. Still...I'm going to continue to avoid it.

I don't think i have ever seen such a difference in wear with a primer. The primer definitely made a difference with the foundation. Makes me want to give the primer stick a try.
Same here!! Watching the footage back I was like, "woah!" You can really see it!
Keep in mind that it's got 6 different fragrant ingredients in it - 5 besides the "fragrance" that's listed. So you might want to watch for irritation.
Totally agree. The primer did an excellent job of smoothing the skin . The results were visible before makeup and more so after.
Definitely buying this.
Prior to this video posting, I had already purchased the mascara, lipstick and blush stick. The mascara gave me panda eyes and flaking like nobody’s business. The first day I tried it with just one coat. Flaking, some smudging. Second day I built up the layers because the packaging says it’s buildable. Massive panda eyes and flaking straight away. The blush stick is awesome, and the lipstick is really really pretty! None of the new wet and wild products are available except at Walgreens. Not even on the wet and wild website!

I bought the cooling stick yesterday and have really liked it because,it kind of acted like a primer for my concealer, and actually made my concealer go on more smoothly.I like it.
Awesome video as usual Jen. I’m surprised a blush called mellow wine looks so peachy and warm toned. Your shirt in the Wet n Wild blushes b roll looked so pretty. On camera it looks like the same color as your eyes.

The wet n wild powder blushes are my favorite. Mellow wine is my holy grail, love it for my natural days as well as glam since it is Buildable! They play well with high-end and drugstore products.
I loved the impossible primer so I really want to try the stick version. I may even try the cooling eye stick.

Hi Jen love your reviews! I see no purpose for skin tints. I feel only young people or people with no skin issues to hide would benefit from these light formulas.
I'm not young, and I sure do have skin issues to hide. But...I also have extremely dry skin. Even with moisturizer underneath, it can be really hard to get foundations with more coverage to apply smoothly. Lighter weight products like sheer foundations or tinted moisturizers tend to work better for me.
All of that said, I can understand your point of view. But there is a market for such products.
I love Sky High for the same reason, it’s one of the only ones that doesn’t smudge
Hi Jen, thanks for showing the new Wet’N’Wild products 😊. If I can give you a tip put a translucent fixing powder underneath and on top of pencil eyeshadow so it won’t crease that works for me.
When is wet n wild gonna finally give us a brown mascara?
I found the bed of roses blush in five and below a few months ago and have been loving it.

I like the new Bed of Roses Blush, looks so pretty. I also like the lipstick in Hush Lil Beige, a great nude brown but not too brown. Is the scent very strong, because I can't tolerate a strong smell for a lip product.
It's strong at first but after a while I didn't notice it.
Will definitely skip the mascara but may try the primer and blush on that side.
Even when are affordable, Wet n wild products can be a hit or miss! So reviews like this one are always very helpful! I think eye products are not the best of the brand (except for the Photofocus eyeshadow primer, which is my favorite because makes my shadows last for hours, even when I have oily eyelids and also work well during very hot days), so those are an easy pass for me, same as almost the rest of the products… except for the primer and the blushes, all of them go straight to my wishlist!
The skin tint is amazing. It rivals the Summer Fridays skin tint which I love but is over $40 and this us much more affordable. I tried the Catrice one and wanted to love it but it sank into every pore on my face ☹️

The new wet n wild powder blush called naked brown is divine! Beautiful blush and have also loved it for eyeshadow.
I like the Wet n Wild blushes they're really good. I like LA. Girl, but everyone has different opinions and Wet n Wild is usually a good brand.

I apply powder eyeshadow over the cream or liquid eyeshadow. I have hooded eyes and this method have been working for me 😊. Thank you very much for your review. ❤

Wow, those new blush shades are gorgeous!! I hope they'll come out with more shades. They highlighter works great for me, but the blush shades could look better. I have never tried the powder blushes, so I must try the Bed of Roses. How pretty!! Tbh, you're the person that convinced me to finally try Wet N Wild products. So glad I did!!
Hey Jen! Why can't Wet N Wild (and other makers) come up with a threaded cap in heavier plastic for their blush/highlighter/bronzer sticks? I love the stick formulas, but the cheesy caps crack when you look at them funny! And, hey - More of those dangerous liquid blushes! Just what my world needs! Love your presentation, so thorough! Tula makes an under eye cooling stick and I’ve had it for over 6 months, and I unintentionally wore it under my concealer the other day and what a wonderful mistake! It makes my under eyes soooo smooth and concealers crease way less!!! I’m swearing by the Tula eye sticks. I have the pink one and HIGHLY recommend

The new blush shades were underwhelming. The brown shade looked atrocious on my neutral skin tone( similar to Burt’s Bees cinnamon blush) the bed of roses did not show up on my very fair skin. Odd🤔
See I liked the impossible primer in the tube. It worked really well for me but i want that stick one!!!! I hope that one works for me!
i love a lot of wet n wild! so this is a great video ❤️ i wonder why they came out with a stick version of their impossible primer if it’ll essentially be the same thing. but since i liked the impossible, i’ll probably really enjoy this new one.

Stick primers usually generate a super Good result, in stick form it really is able to press in! I'm so happy to see this!! I figured elf would come out with a good one someday since they specialize in primers, but maybe one day 😊😊 im ecstatic to see this option!!
The Wet N Wild lavender lip mask is the best lip mask on the market. I’m terrified they’re discontinuing it. I just bought eight of them off their website. I’ve used up around a dozen and gifted well over a dozen.
They changed the formula, the ones with the lip biting is the new one and it’s not as good :(

I love the color of that Berry True blush! It reminds me of a gel blush that I had dacades ago that stayed put all day long. I think it was either wet and wild or bonne belle.
Yes! The Bonne Bell gel blushes were awesome and a very similar color! Pixi Beauty makes one that's almost identical...it even comes in a similar tube.
I loved my Bonne Bell blush gel! Such a pretty wash of color. BTW, Bonne Bell started in Cleveland!
I have to say that primer made the one side of your face look fantastic!
I wish I'd bought the new ELF Lash Extension mascara, instead I bought one of the Camo Blushes, i think the product is awful 😮😅 / Oh well only 10 dollars, I'm sure I'll have better luck with the new Wet and Wild stuff, when we can get the new shades in Canada. I already know I love the W&W blush sticks and powder blushes.

Smudging mascara tip I’ve learned. We have a similar eye shape. If I put mascara too close or gloppy at the base of my lashes (closest to eye) and not just middle to tip, they will smudge. If I’m careful not to get too close to the water line it doesn’t smudge. Just something I learned (for me). Hopefully it helps!! 😀
Jen, I know we are all different, but I wanted to share my solution for raccoon eyes. When I was young (& oily), I had raccoon eyes from my mascara all the time. My lashes are long & my cheeks were chubby. (Yours are not. 😉). I figured out if I use waterproof, curling mascara I don't have that issue any more. Before curling mascaras, I discovered if I manually curled my lashes that worked to lift them up off my under eye area. My eyes tend to get watery, & I used to get "steamy" easily. (Overheated?). So switching to waterproof helped with that.

The blush sticks are my favorite and more shades would be awesome! The only bad thing is the cap falls off constantly. Definitely can't trust it in a makeup bag! Planning to look for the lipsticks!
It happened to me too with their foundation product ,it started breaking up by the end of the day specifically on the chin area ,even its affordable and has good ingredients their products don’t work for me
I just picked up the wet n wild Bed of Roses powder blush on Amazon and was surprised at how peachy it was. I was expecting a rose shade with that name. I totally agree that the powder blushes are all way too similar
Yes!! I agree they could have made a beautiful rose shade and it would have been something different from the rest of their range.
I have been using the mascara for two days now and I love it! 😂😂 Make my lashes look super long and on me did not smudge after a 12 hour work day.

When you apply foundation with a sponge it will always be thicker verses applying foundation with a brush!!
I've had a problem with a few foundations breaking up on me, specifically on my chin!

I have bought Wet & Wild multi-sticks. Prefer NYX jumbo eye pencil. Bought all Wet & Wild Megaglo Hello Halo blush lighters. They are just ok. Bought Revolution powder highlighter Dare to Divulge and Elf Halo Glow beauty wand champagne highlighter. Love both. Have Wet & Wild makeup stick blush Peach Bums. Haven't tried. Will likely need to be set with powdered blush. Wet & Wild photo focus translucent loose powder is as good, if not better than Laura Mercier. Thanks for your reviews.

I don't know, Jen. I see a huge difference with both of those primers, on you.
You didn't put the Impossible Primer stick all the way up to your eyes, and yet, your makeup looks amazing all the way up to your lashes AND the mascara didn't really smudge where you applied that cooling primer!
I got the liquid blush and I’m making it work. It’s nice when it’s nice, but I have to be very careful how I layer it and what products I layer it with.
17:13 I agree they look the same. I feel like they did what Juvias Place did with their Liquid Blushes… now it’s a Glow Blush. Although I have their liquid highlighter 🤦♀️🤷♀️

Hey Jen! Just a thought - I have been putting the Make Reverse Emulsion or a light coating of pure lanolin (sourced from a farm in NZ that keeps sheep, so the animals aren't harmed, just sheared) on as my last step at night and it has done wonders to keep my skin hydrated and seal in my skincare. Have you tried anything like that? :)

I actually really liked the Wet n Wild Skin Tint. I have extremely oily skin and found that it transferred very minimally throughout the day (unlike other foundations that transfer a lot as my oils come through) and is so lightweight that I forgot I was wearing it. It just melts into my skin. Maybe the skin tint didn't work well for your skin because you didn't moisturize your skin properly? Did you use a setting spray and setting powder?

The wet n wild powder blushes didn’t last on me. They fade quick so I have to reapply, they are still pretty though
That mascara is very good for that price.🎉For me is a win,even better than other high end mascaras.
Most mascaras smudge on me too. I think it’s because of my hooded eyes. So I’m very picky about mascara and when I find one that works I stick to it.
Im glad Im not the only one who thinks the Photofocus Foundation has a strong unpleasant scent.
I traveled a little bit for this skin tint because I was excited and we didn’t have it at our Walgreens. I want to love it but… I can’t. It looks terrible on me. I’m in the process of trying diff primers, etc but nothing is helping. Ugh
I wonder if your mascara often smudges because you don’t use much powder and don’t set your face? I’ve noticed that when I have a more dewy look or more sweaty day, my mascara smudges more even if I don’t have it on my lower lashes.
Did you use an eyeshadow primer with the eyeshadow stick. I would have liked to see if it would have helped.
