@@granthoover9045 Fred used to be a lot more vocal, opinionated, and he also used to bump heads with Howard often and rarely backed down. Since this saga he became a nice teddy bear, laughing at everything Howie says, takes his paycheck and leave. He was then rebranded as the “smart, silent type”.
It’s obvious why he didn’t want John to kiss his wife. John is a creep and disgusting. John would have used that against him forever and probably would still be talking shit today.
This almost lead to a divorce. It came up in a show years later that, at the time of the Rainbow Room fight, Fred and his wife were separated. Maybe not legally, but living apart.
Maybe he secretly liked it. Remember Fred was weird about showing emotion and sexuality because of his childhood trauma. Maybe they did what he wanted to do and enjoyed watching it.
Allison was giving Fred a shit test. She wanted him to stand up and tell her she could not kiss this guy in the play, and he failed the test. She secretly lost respect for him for not fighting for her.
From her whoring in an off off Broadway show to the brouhaha they had at the Rainbow Room and God knows what else, I always thought Fred was going to divorce his dial-a-date. I was surprised he had a kid with her.
Listening back to Howard years later, I realize that he really was a pos. To Fred, this was just a job. I always thought Howard and Fred were actually friends.
She was sitting there lying to Fred about what his eyes were seeing. Typical woman. “I didn’t pull him into me” she did. “We don’t kiss on the lips” “I swear” they find out they do and she says “oh but it’s not intimate” Fred should have bounced. He could have had 7 younger and hotter different girls a week back in those days
I agree. It’s absolutely a bit. Most things they discussed, etc, was set up and rehearsed before time. That’s one of the reasons there were writers on the show
I think it’s definitely a bit. Fred wouldn’t have allowed this if it weren’t good for the show. I don’t think Fred was really upset. Just my opinion. I could be wrong.
It's just the segment where they first watch the scene. Quality gets better as the tape goes on. The cassettes these were uploaded from are 30 years old.
@@RAK_Media I wish I still had my tapes from 1986. Mets in the world series. Interviewing people out side of Shea stadium. Including a supposed "Darryl Strawberry" who says he's stealing stereos out of cars!
Go back to the day of original airing and listen to it then..I'm sure it sounds better..oh, wait, you can't do that? Then settle down and say thanks!!😅
You're on a roll, keep them coming! Please and thank you!
Thanks for all of the classic uploads! Keep it up they are awesome
One of the best sagas in the whole show! Fred changed forever after this.
Lol in what way? What changed ?

Fred is the type to beat up the lover but forgive his wife for cheating.
It’s obvious why he didn’t want John to kiss his wife. John is a creep and disgusting. John would have used that against him forever and probably would still be talking shit today.
I was cracking up listening to this live back in my teenage days 😂
Dude this is soooo bruuutal. Waaay more intense and mean than the rainbow room. Why does this never come up? They all just made out with his wife??
Freeeeeeddy calm down
This almost lead to a divorce. It came up in a show years later that, at the time of the Rainbow Room fight, Fred and his wife were separated. Maybe not legally, but living apart.
I don’t agree that it was mean. Fred needed to be kicked in the ass about how his wife was treating him. Fred probably should have divorced her.
@@GlockBarium I agree. Fred put up with way more than most guys would have. He definitely needed a reality check.
Maybe he secretly liked it. Remember Fred was weird about showing emotion and sexuality because of his childhood trauma. Maybe they did what he wanted to do and enjoyed watching it.
I haven’t heard this little saga in quite some time. Thanks for the upload, sir
Alison makes Jackies wife Nancy look like a saint
Allison was giving Fred a shit test. She wanted him to stand up and tell her she could not kiss this guy in the play, and he failed the test. She secretly lost respect for him for not fighting for her.
Is that why they’ve been married for over 30 years still
Yooo!!! Robin was savage here😂😂
Pre psychiatric Robin was a thing of beauty.
I always thought Robin had a thing for Fred
From her whoring in an off off Broadway show to the brouhaha they had at the Rainbow Room and God knows what else, I always thought Fred was going to divorce his dial-a-date. I was surprised he had a kid with her.
What was the rainbow room fight about? ive never heard the answer
Fred’s Rainbow Room Saga, Jackie’s Jetty and the Artie vs. Howard Bro Fight are all in my top ten. 100% radio gold.
I always assumed at some point he'd physically beat the hell outta her and wed see it in the news
@@sardonicus76lol so much this. Same here. Throw in some high pitch mike gay saga and it’s pure gold.
@@JJKerksieck they never said publicly what it was about. Some think it had to do with them fighting about her role in this play.
Such a great upload, many thanks 👌
Fred had no say he did what his wife told him and like it
Usually if you have a bad feeling its already too late.
I couldn't tell Jackie's voice from the actor's voice. I kept wondering why Jackie kept stepping in to explain the play, when it was the actor lol.

Fred is the least convincing tough guy ever
More physically imposing than you’d think though. Like 6’2, and was in good shape.
Classic 🎙️ Content!! 👍
Classic clip. Love it.
"i had you over my house you couldn't even tell me you didn't like hotdogs" HAHAHA
Fred always hated John
Please Fred is so much better looking than that Guido. I remember what that guy looked like he was a little tiny tan dude
You are uploading cool stuff, do you have the 2003 football pool saga with the chicken ? If so I would love to hear it.
No, my stuff only goes up to 2001.
@@RAK_Media Whys that? Did you leave when jackie left? just curious, Love and appreciate all this content btw!
@user-mm7ji2tm1d just got too busy with work, etc. Didn't have the time anymore. Nothing to do with the show itself.
@@RAK_Mediawell. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps and get it done! We all rely on you!!!!

I’m Kelly Clarkson
@DiversityForIsraelI know it’s you,….high…pitch.
@@saljablo2767Ack Ack!
Tony and Tina's are paying a big commission for this one
Totally used Fred.
“FRED IS MY DOG”. Indeed
Ack ack!
Alas Alas!
This is the only time Fred was ever Funny or Compelling on the Show...the way he had no Impulse control when the guy tormented him was great.
You have no taste and no real knowledge of the show obviously. Go away.
Howard was 1000% right here 💯
People hate to admit to jealousy. It’s real and it’s better to say it.

Is there video of this or only audio?, can you send me a video os this anyone or link thanks
I only have the audio as it was recorded off the radio in 1995, but if you search TH-cam you can find the video.
I used to make tapes in the 90’s and friends would say Wth would u do that ..now,they all know why
I'd rather listen to Fred's "music" than his acting in this.
This has to be a bit, becauae im not convinced for a second that fred is truly upset here.
No, this is definitely real

Stuttering john was the best at causing trouble but fred pretending to be a tough guy with him. I bet even john would of floored fred in a real fight.
Maybe. But Fred was / is a bigger guy with a temper.
No way.
Fred always seemed to be more bark than bite. I mean, he had to take up boxing because he used to get beat up.
Big? 😂 John beat up Cabbie @@saljablo2767
lost respect for howard back when he did this to fred and saw Allison as the piece of trash she is

Wrong!
2:06:04 after listening to this you’re probably right Robin, I know you didn’t mean it how it came out but I bet this sl*t is doing that.
Robin was so fucking annoying.
