- So, you really want to see the tennis at Wimbledon but don't have a ticket? There are still ways to get to see the action.
In this video we will look at The Queue at Wimbledon and I will explain the best ways to use it. I will also show you my personal experience from queueing at day 3 of the Wimbledon and a few glimpses from what you can expect once you are inside the Wimbledon premises.
And if you stick around to the end of the video, I will show you how you can get into Centre court, no 1 and 2 courts, without queuing from crazy early hours.

Thanks for watching! I hope this inspired you to go and try out "The Q" (except the rainy parts). And if you have already been, how was your experience from the Queue? :)
Thank you for your video. Really helped me understand what to expect at my first attempt to join the Queue. Queued 6hrs on Day 1 2024. Went by quickly - got chatting and read a book. It helped to have a camping chair and snacks. I was ticket number 9001. Great experience and would do it again!
At what time did you arrive to the Q?
8:30am and row K13 queue position 9002
thanks for information
Any time!
Seems crazy in 2024 that you have to queue from 5AM just to get a grounds ticket. Surely there’s a better way of organising things than this way. Not much fun for the elderly or those with health conditions.
but can you queue and buy tickets for the day after or can you only see the day you are queuing?
Hi and thanks for your comment. You can only buy a ticket for the day you are there. If you queue early enough (around 6am) you will usually get in when they open around 11am - 12pm
Can you buy the tickets online? Sorry new to this I have no idea how it works, or can you only queue ?
No, there isnt any online ticket sales. There is a ballot where you can sign up in advance but it closes months before Wimbledon starts. So you're best bet is the queue.
@@narratedtraveladventures Thank you
When you queue are you queuing only for that day? So you can’t queue for 5 hours on a Wednesday for example to secure a ticket for Thursday?
Correct. There will be a second queue for the next day, but it will not start to move until the actual day, i.e. the next day. You will see people with tents and proper gear. This will be the queue for the next day.
Thats a queue!
British People love to queue 😅
Queue for a what a match that will end 2 hours time or retirement?
I will never queue just to get into the GROUND.
If you queue early enough you can easily get in when they open the stadium around 11am.
The first year I was there, I just wanted to get in, to feel the atmosphere of Wimbledon grounds. For me it was amazing.
This year it was very busy so I spent the evening on the hill with great company and atmosphere.
tell me you dont watch tennis without telling me
After 5 hours queue are you kidding me
Only for the patient ones 😂😂 I know, it's sounds crazy, but you have a lot of fun in the queue if you bring some drinks/food.
