Yup
The reason a wallclip is possible is because of how fast you move versus the frame rate and how far you are from the wall. Just like in Mario 64, if you’re moving fast enough, on frame 1 you can be behind the wall and on frame two you’ll be on the other side. The game isn’t programmed to register super high speeds like that, allowing you to clip through walls
On Mario 64 It actually checks for quarter steps, and still people have managed to break It so much
So, basically... your sprite is further ahead than your hitbox, so it just rejoins your hitbox to the sprite without caring about the fact that you went through another hitbox
But first, we need to talk about *PARALLEL UNIVERSES*
@@pokelordomega1701 It’s more like the game calculates your hit box every so often, and you’re going so fast that your hit box will never intersect the barrier between collision checks (think of jumping over a gap).So as far as the game is aware, you didn’t hit the wall, ergo you pass right through it.

Hey Troy, I fugured something out. Tracks with slopes and hills dont work with the bullet bill (Like warios gold mine in the last video), the bullet just goes thru the slope/hill while flat tracks work great with the bullet because there is no slope/hill to go thru (Like dk jungle parkway). Please do more Tracks with the bullet to show its potential :) im almost certain that a bullet can do 3 laps on Yoshi circut because its so flat and short :)

Alright Troy, this is why you can phase through walls.
Essentially, walls are not solid objects, but an area with a collision property. Every frame (or tick, depends on the game), the game checks if you’re inside a wall. If you are, the game will teleport / push you out of the wall. However, if you move fast enough, you can be moving so fast that on one frame / tick you are in front of the wall, and on the next one you are behind it. You’re going too fast for the game to register you’ve touched the wall. This can happen for the opposite reason during lag, the frames / ticks are so spaced out that at normal speeds this can happen.

Hey Troy - There is a ledge on the wall on the market side. When you went to the little wooden palet, there was a ledge on the wall. Go backwards at the start, over the bridge and look at the wall - There is a ledge that goes all the way across!

Speaking of shortcuts in Yoshi Falls, i remember using cheats to fly in DS, from the outwards corner straight to the finish line straight. On 500cc you could do a lap in 10 or less seconds
