Get a Sony zv-e10 II and a sigma 16mm f1.4. You don’t want the kit lenses because it is not very good. By buying a high quality lenses you will get the most out of your camera!
Lots of tech influencers that post shorts use the Sony zv1 mark 2 because they can swap out the lens and it has very good lighting GET THE SONY ZV1 MARK 2!
video cameras you can swap out lenses are clutch if youre looking to be a cinematic videographer, id say its more mid to late game purchase if u dont already have lenses in ur inventory. if youre looking to film the day to day life then i suggest the second* one! ive gotten around to use one recently for a client and theyre super fun 15mm to 50mm gives u enough wiggle room to get majority of shots done ^____^
This is just me but I think that you should use your phone because it is easier to use and it is hard to transport your videos to your phone to edit them and you recently just got your new phone and the camera on it is already really good that is just me though 👍🏻 😊
The ZV-E10 is a reliable camera option. However, I recommend purchasing the body only and acquiring the lenses separately. I suggest a Sigma 18-50mm lens with a wide zoom range and an aperture of f2.8 or lower, preferably f1.8.
So many people in these comments don’t know what they’re on abt lol, zve-10 is def the best out of the provided lot, get used to the kit lense before you upgrade to one with a different aperture, possibly a prime, however also consider the cannon r50 or r10 as they are pretty similar specs wise, and offer as good if not better quality. Sony is known for their low light, while cannon is known for their color science. Cannons R50 will be the easiest to use as it is very beginner friendly in both photography and videography.
i use the ZV-E10 in my videos, would definitely recommend it as it’s not too expensive (compared to other cameras) and still has the benefits of using a dedicated camera 👍
I have the sony zv1f and I use it for youtube all the time but if you are actually looking for a camera to keep for a long time prob just go with the zv e10 mark ii
Ok. Go for sony. They have great auto focus and low light. Also if you are on a budget go for a apsc (this is the sensor size) not full frame. Because you are a TH-camr you need to shoot somewhat wide angle. Whatever lens you get needs to go to at least 20 mil if you get apsc and if you get full frame go at least 24 mil. I would not recommend getting the one with the pre built in lens. Being able to change lenes is a huge part of a camera. You dont need a fully articulating screen but if you ever plan to do vloging or something i would get it. I would also stay with the zv series. Saying all of this i would go to b&h (they are the best canera seller) and go to the customer support and tell them what you want. They will lead you in the right direction.
Canon and Sony are very good brands but canons interface is a bit easier to niavigate if your just starting out but Sonys are great camera but there have odd color science Lightroom can fix that i would say the zv-e10 so you can have the flip screen and the mic and you can get into canon and Sonys lens ecosystem as you can get a adapter
I’m a photographer (so don’t take my info as a videographer) but for ease of use cannons are better but for quality and better video quality Sony is way better
Take your time. The research part is super fun too
The first camera is amazing for the quality and price
You just had to flex the iphone 16
The zve10 is a really good camera I use it for my TH-cam shorts but if you want a good lense the Sony sigma 16mm f1.4 lense is good
Listen to them that the lens is solid, I suggest getting the camera body only and getting it with that lens you won't regret it.
someone sponsor her she deserves it !
the new zve10 mark ii paired with the sigma 16mm f1.4👍🏻

You should get a Sony FX30 (if you want to do this full time and you save up enough)
if it doesn't have an interchangeable lens it most likely is not future-proofed or of decent quality
recommended Sony cameras for you: ZV-E10, ZV-E10II, a6700, a7III
What’s a good budget camera for content creation (under $250)
That expensive I was thinking the same as well. ❤
I have the sony zv1f and I use it for youtube all the time but if you are actually looking for a camera to keep for a long time prob just go with the zv e10 mark ii
I recommend a canon in my opinion but it’s fully up to you

I will fully recommend the e10 was longer lasting as you can change lens but the mk2 of the e10 you can do custom luts
Go for a camera with interchangeable lenses
I was also looking at this camera and a lot of people suggest it for beginners. So maybe get it!
Sony alpha 6400 or 6700 are also pretty good cameras. Or canon m50 ist also good
Zv e10 m2 or if you have the budget get a a6700 literally the best camera for its price rn

That camera looks nice
Sony a6700 research that, 26mp, 4K 120, best aps c camera

Try to reseqrch on nikon cams . They are really good with replacable lens
I’m a photographer (so don’t take my info as a videographer) but for ease of use cannons are better but for quality and better video quality Sony is way better
