I just got my '06 Crossfire Limited and it's worth every penny I've spent on it so far. Anyone who thinks this thing is "shitty" is just a hater. Everywhere I got people are turning their heads and that definitely makes you feel pretty damn confident. Anyone with a decent paying job can afford this car and it will not break the bank. They are pretty damn rare and you probably won't run into many other ones on the road. The engine is going to last for at least 200k if maintained correctly. German quality for American pennies. Funny all the people hating on this car have never drove this car and are probably riding the bus everyday. Get real

I think what I like most about the Crossfire is that even though it was introduced in 2004, it's exterior styling still looks remarkably modern to me. Almost a timeless design with flowing contours and sharp bodylines all in one car.
I have two - a 2005 Limited coupe for me and a 2005 convertible for the wife. I've been in the car biz for 20 years and this is one of the most underrated cars you can get. Super fun to drive, and very dependable. They definitely get looks while driving around town. If you don't like the looks? It's you personal choice.
I'm not a chrysler fan in fact i would associate the company with the label of tacky, but this marriage between Merc and chrysler brought the german mundane style out of the doldrums and so i view this vehicle as a certain classic vehicle.
Nice car, spoiled with an automatic. I have a 2004 6 speed manual coupe, and i love it. It is quick, stylish and reliable, so long as you keep up with the servicing etc.
Thanks for reviewing this car. When there's one on the road they always catch my eye. I've always been curious about this car and your review has given me a favorable opinion of it, although I always thought the front looked like a regular sedan and the back looked like a sports car. Like it wasn't sure what it wanted to be.
Wow, my dad has a 1999 Mercedes E-Class and looking at the interior of this car reminds me so much of it because of all the switches, and even the chime it makes when you insert the key.
It is fitting to feature the Crossfire after the Bugatti since both are unique and in low numbers. I have owned an 04 for 3 years now, customized it using Mercedes components like the SLK32 and SLK55 AMG. Like every unique cars, you either love it or you hate it. If you get a chance to drive one, you most likely will fall in love. The Crossie is a big hit with the ladies BTW!
Haha you've made it even more tempting to get one. Can I ask a few questions: What Mercedes components did you customize it with? What's it like to drive? Around corners? Do you still have it?
Very nice introduction to the CrossFire. I have a 2004 CrossFire, a 1948 Dodge and a Thunderbird. If it fits your personality it’s a great fit! Or give yourself a lift and own a Crossfire and have some fun and drive it like you stole it!
@@PeRRXX Not a lot of power but certainly more than enough for the average driver. Mercedes M112 3.2L V6 with 722.6 5-speed automatic is a very smooth, refined and reliable powertrain combo. Had good low-end torque as well. If you want big power you can always go with SRT-6 model.
