    What are you using to clean the wood without damaging it or drying it out?

    • @WeberPowerWashing

      SH baby

    • @marcellasneumann
      @marcellasneumann 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're just using SH and not having any problems with the stain discoloration or drying out appearance??

      I have a house on the schedule that has wood tongue and Grove over the porches and it's just clear coating on it , I really don't want to damage that or Anything for that matter, just being overly cautious I guess

    2 quick tips I saw in this Video that might help that I do... I keep a "tester" spray bottle (elo cheap-o from wally wolrd) with a 50/50 mix in it. I make a new one everyday just like 2 or 3 oz of water and SH.. Spray a few test spots. While that dwells I hunt for the out side faucet for my other tip.. WD40... If it's crusty like that one, a few good sprays.. Do the walk of shame I call it (inspect house for damages, etc) come back spray it again and they usually come off like BUTTA (gotta love Cliff!!!).. Just my 2 cents

    Use only gentle soap and water on stained wood. at the beach it is generally salt on the house if they keep up with washing. SH is salt. Try using a gas blower to get the water off the ceilings before they dry. Think car wash.

    Nice job. (I've seen others use inexpensive shower caps to cover items (cameras, door knobs, etc.), put tape on door locks, thinking a roll of clear vinyl might work well to protect outlets, etc., cut oversized then tape perimeter, the sheets may be reusable, might be more cost effective.)

    Congrats on the property protection success! Regarding cutting the SH - Mr.Bubbles downstreams a 50/50 mix with tons of success. You don’t need a hot mix to clean homes!

    I dont get how some of these dudes tape nothing and seem to get away, just spray and move on, or maybe we just dont hear about the repercussions. Some insist you tape up but still get problems but admit to it which is much more helpful. It all gives me anxiety.

    • @WeberPowerWashing
      @WeberPowerWashing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I feel you brotha , shit I used to not tape anything. Until I burnt up a few. Now I am extra cautious. I’m only scared of the SH - the rinsing doesn’t scare me anymore

    The stairs/floorboards are fine for a house wash-strength SH. The risk is the doors and porch ceilings. It's always a risk; that's part of the business. That's why you charge 2-3k on a house like this in case there are issues. I've covered many wood doors, but most of the time, it gets wet regardless. At a certain point, you have to send it. I'd prob blow the ceiling dry.
