    I sure miss my 69 Charger I had back in the mid 70’s. Had a 70 Roadrunner at the same time. Man I wish I knew then, what I know now. I also sold my 70 Cuda in 1984 like a dumbass. I have a 2015 Challenger SRT392 now, and won’t part with it. Great job on the 68 Charger, love it.

      Thank you! I'm sure your 392 is quick!

    After watching your videos I got ahold of Russel and will be getting his stand alone system. Also your input on the Holley terminator Max X makes more sense than anything.
    I am doing a 5.7 Hemi swap but adding a 6.4 Hemi cam. Putting it in a 74 Charger. I know not the desirable year but is a clean car. Great info on your videos.

    great video, I'm going to get the same setup. How did you get the TPS output signal from the Holley ECU to the Sound German kit?

    • @98saleen
      @98saleen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You will pull the signal from J3 (drive by wire connection) on the Holley ECU. Look for the Yellow Wire located at Pin B9. Here's a link to diagram - documents.holley.com/558-417_gen_iii_hemi_dbw_harness_diagram.pdf - You then hook that Yellow Wire to the PCS controller YELLOW/BLACK wire which is TPS input. You also need to connect the TACH Signal out of the Holley to the PCS controller ORANGE/BLACK wire for Engine RPM. That's it!

      @@98saleenI’m doing this part now trying to hook up the TPS for the PCS controller, I located the YELLOW wire you referenced, am I just going to splice in the TPS wire from the German Sound kit to that wire?

      @@98saleen man thank you for replying I definitely owe you a beer 🍻 now I’m an idiot so I apologize in advance. So for the YELLOW wire, are you saying leave it plugged into the pedal and the other end should go to the YLW/BLK wire? Or leave it how it is and just splice the YLW/BLK wire to it so the YELLOW wire stays as is and I just tap into it? First time ever dealing with car wiring like this

    How did you get your tic toc tach to work with the hemi swap?

    • @98saleen
      @98saleen  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I use a Holley computer harness Tachometer output wire and it sends a signal to a Dakota Digital Tach Adapter. This adapter then sends a signal to the Tic-Toc-Tach. Here's a link - www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=1192/category_id=694/mode=prod/prd1192.htm

    Do you have a pic of that connector? I too have an 06. It’s a 6.1 but I was planning on buying 550-1421 not the 1420

    • @98saleen
      @98saleen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      550-1421 has the following harness kits in it -
      Terminator X Max (554-153)
      Main harness - Chrysler Gen 3 Hemi, Early (558-115)
      Early Hemi Coil Harness (558-310)
      EV6 injector harness Hemi V8 (558-210)
      DBW for 03-06 Hemi (558-417)
      You can get away using the factory brake switch just run 12V to a relay trigger to let the shifter so it will come out of gear.

    • @givemeaname1999
      @givemeaname1999 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And the 1420 has what number DBW harness? Just want to make sure I don’t end up in the same boat.

    • @98saleen
      @98saleen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@givemeaname1999 Yes it also has 558-417 for DBW. Just look at the pedal connection. If long and rectanular you need 558-417. If your connection is smaller and a square you need the other DBW harness 558-418.
