- Why I would live in Greenfield Indiana... again. Greenfield Indiana is a small city just to the east of Indianapolis. You'll certainly find Greenfield if you're traveling east on I-70 or U.S. 40... the National Road. Some say that Greenfield is the last small city near Indianapolis that has yet to be connected or swallowed up by it. My family and I moved to Greenfield roughly 3 years ago from the extremely popular Fishers Indiana. It was a necessary move for us but one that we have not regretted. I would certainly move to Greenfield Indiana or at least nearby again if I had the chance. We'll explore a little why I would move to Greenfield and perhaps why you should... or maybe shouldn't.

Have lived in Greenfield my whole life, it’s been very neat seeing it grow and get more things. It is nice to not having to go to the north side for everything anymore. A great little town! Nice and quiet too!
Literally passed through Greenfield well over a 100 times in my life traveling between Michigan and Kentucky cause we wanted to bypass Indy traffic. Always thought, man I want to explore this town a little.
Few years ago met my now wife who is from here and then moved to Greenfield. Absolutely love it here!

Greenfield is great. Bought a house hear 3 years ago. I’m 31 and I moved from 25th and post on the city’s east side. Best decision I’ve made.
I lived in Greenfield my whole life and about 1 or 2 years ago me and my mom moved to Indianapolis with my dad, we used to walk through pensy trail all the time we actually lived on Pennsylvania street the family from my dads side mostly lived in green field but i was like "damnnit we had to move as soon as things became more lively, lol"

Greenfield was a beautiful town once. Now there are too many subdivisions, big box chain stores and restaurants. The real Greenfield is being slowly destroyed by greedy town council and outsiders who don't care about the history of Greenfield. You're showing the death throes of a once beautiful small town and encouraging others to come help in its destruction.
