Always loved the artstyle of this game! Loved how the entire game’s artstyle and art direction is not just comic book stylized but everything looks like mark bagley’s artwork come to life and motion! Amazing work!
Seriously! games nowdays have better graphics but they don't have soul. O good game isn't about the graphics but about the feelings, the vibe, and this is absolutely one of the good ones. Man! played this game as a 8 years old was one of the most magical experiences I had in my life.
We Almost Did But It Got Cancelled Sadly Due To Low Sales Green Goblin Was Supposed To Return Along As A Playable Character & The Game Was Set To Be On Christmas/Winter And NYC Was Gonna Be Even Bigger Than The First Game It Was Gonna Have Snow,Brooklyn/The Brooklyn Bridge, & Coney Island It Was Supposed To Release In 2006 And There's Only One Concept Art From It
Well Spider-Man battle for New York is the sequel, but it’s odd as a sequel becuz the goblin arc happens before venom in the comics but they only dropped it for DS and GBA the gba is just ultimate Spider-Man with goblin same art style pretty fun way longer. And the ds is a 3d rendition of the side scroller
What a video! what a comics series, and what a video game! I think being a New Yorker in the 2000's was the coolest thing ever! (which I'm not) but who's complaining? we still got the American dream right?

Ultimate Spider-Man is one of my favorite iterations of Spider-Man and I wanna get a copy of this for my GameCube one day.
