Happy to see King retire with Carl. Very nice to see a team including owners that put the horse's health and well being first from beginning to end. What an exciting ride he took them all on!
I thank the owner, trainer and others involved for scratching Kinsale King when necessary. You did the right thing in a difficult situation. I'm glad he was able to live a great retired life, when so many do not.

I have worked on the sidelines in the racing industry in South Africa since I was 16 and have always loved horses. The game has been under the most tremendous pressure and to see this was awe-inspiring. The love between man and horse gives heart and especially to see such a wonderful retirement, still together. May all horses, owners and trainers be so blessed and have that one moment in time to cherish and yet appreciate all of the others!
An Inspiring and heart-warming story of the essential yet all too often elusive symbiosis between a race horse with ability yet also with problems in his hoofs and a trainer with determination and ambition, yet with the all important understanding of his charges' particular needs. To me it is especially rewarding to know that at the end of his racing career Kinsale King was rewarded with an honourable retirement, in the care of the trainer who had established such an undeniable bond with the horse..! He had definitely earned it..!!
Been involved in horse racing my whole life but took a few years off when I moved out west and missed this story about this horse! Super retrospect on incredible athlete and everyone involved in his success!
Such a great documentary the ups and downs of that gorgeous looking Kinsale King. The foot was giving him hard times racing but got better on the synthetic tracks and winning. Dr Sheehan was going to let the trainer go if the horse didn’t win, l believe the horse heard that and beautiful King turn that around for his buddy,Carl. A beautiful happy ending and so glad King lives with his buddyCarl at his new home.Thankyou Carl.❤️🐴❤️

8:45 - THAT Guy is 100% jerk. I wouldn't train a horse for him ever....and neither would guys like Baffert or Lukas or McGaughey. that attitude doesn't belong in the sport.
I knew that ground was too fast in the July Cup for him. Even without his shoe problems unfortunately abit more good ground he may have been better. I really think he could have been in top 3 again with softer going.
Great Documentary !! Everything that Kinsale King did he did for Carl, this animal bonded with him and loved their relationship !! He was a very happy horse and thrived on their one on one time together. Very special animal and I can say one thing the two brothers that owned him had very little to do with this animals success.
It reminds me of the Seabiscuit story and how that horse ran for the trainer. Special bonds do develop between horses and people, a resonance and mutual love of sorts. The two brothers were smart enough to purchase the horse(many people would not have given the horse a 2nd look at the sales) and to chose a young and passionate trainer.
Very well done, they didn’t hide the reality of this sport and the “brothers” were honest in their expectations, I have respect for them in that they find good homes for their horses when it’s racing career is over, I especially LOVE that they understood the bond between KK and Carl and honored that. Carl is what a GOOD horse trainer is, he actually appears to love them and that will get a subpar horse much further, safer, than a trainer merely in it for the $$/fame/ego
I'm glad that Carl took Kinsale in in the end knowing that they had a good connection with each other and also appreciate Dr. Sheehy's decision to have Kinsale retires with Carl.

Really, what are you trying to convey. Are there a few words, half-sentences or headlines from books or newspapers or books referencing newspaper headlines(most apparently related to horses) thrown together in such a way that together they do not contribute to a greater point or narrative. Or is it intentional or unintentional gibberish. Not a literary piece of genius, barely literate at all in fact, and if some avant-garde attempt, which isn’t my particular cup of tea. I ask because I genuinely would like to understand your motivation to post.
It's a heart touching that trainer are Great I'm salute to him

The video is in poor taste, especially for the Keen Ice Fans. I didn't think it was funny, clever. I was put off that TVG used their time on air to show this video for personal time for a Danny K whoever that is.
🆙️🆙️🆙️👍
The owners are horrible and don’t deserve such a great racehorse and trainer. They don’t come across as nice people.

American horse racing is easily the most boring racing in the world. And reading the people, you'd actually believe it was tremendous.
Horse racing is fixed.
Doesn't look like it in this case.
