Maybe we should petition for “a moment of prayer” during every horse race. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 for the safety of the horses and jockeys!!
All believers already DO just that.
Horses love to race. Scum that dose horses I pray their karma is felt in every life.
Horses have such sm legs for their bodies. I look at gymnasts & see their future but they still compete.💜🙏💜🙇♀️
I always do pray before each race. It's so good that you're mentioning it! At that moment, I also pray for every horse race 🏇 in the world that day. Blessings to us all!!!🙏🏇🙏
AMEN!!!
And Ron is "the last one standing", they are all gone but him. Thank you for posting this film.
Ron was a courageous gentlemen and greatest jockey. Ron and Secretariat were a perfect duo and picture of perfection. I’m so sorry for his tragic accident.
A great documentary about an extraordinary man.👍
Ron, way to keep Big Red in your heart and sharing! Thank you so much
What a great story. What a great man. What a great horse. What a great documentary. Thanks for uploading
We're still here❤❤❤
There is no other horse will take place in secretariat 🐎, what a great Heart touching story❤
Ron Turcotte had the best ride of his life on Secretariat at Belmont.
So very true. It gives me goosebumps and brings tears to my eyes each time I watch it!!! He was a blessed man! Thank you for this documentary. 🙏😊🙏🏇🙏
The greatest horse that everlived❤❤❤❤
Love the whole "team Big Red"
Honest jockey he deserves our respect he deserves that special honor❤❤❤
Really like Ronnie Turcotte. This was great. I'd like to see a documentary on Eddie Sweat.
What a wonderful film. Ron Turcotte is an inspiration to all. I love the way that he's respected by jockeys past and present, and fans. I'm British, and was 9 when Secretariat won the triple crown. I love watching the footage.
Beautifil tribute
I feel so bad for Sham, for how he suffered under the whip. He was a very good horse and if I were the owner I would not have allowed that kind of whipping.
I feel bad for Sham too. I wish he had a wonderful human team like Secretariat did. Hopefully he had a better time in retirement.
Yep, Sham was an absolute warrior. Not only fighting through the incessant whipping (out of stride no less) and he ripped 2 teeth out leaving the gate in Kentucky Derby bleeding profusely the whole way. Even so, he breaks the record along with Red. He also creamed the rail in Preakness but still pushed through, and he finished Belmont on 3 legs. Perhaps I’m partial because he’s my favorite.
@@lucybarrington4634Martin was an excellent trainer but Pincay is another story. Sham sired many stakes winners at stud, like Secretariat he was an outstanding broodmare sire.
I would not have allowed that either, terrible!
I felt the same way about that whip and Sham. I think they should outlaw that whip. It's abuse. Makes me so upset. Poor thing.
Belmont, Secretariat decided it was his race, Ron Turcotte was only there for the ride.
Love Eddie Sweat
Ron was definitely THE MAN for the job
Love this! Ron Turcotte pure class
So gracious and kind to give of his time❤❤❤❤
I will always watch Secretariat and Ronny!!
And now he's still going in 2024. RESPECT!
What a wonderful story about a wonderful horse and fabulous rider!
I pray I could meet them!
Ron you were always humble
Oh Ronnie thank you for all the thrills love you forever
Wonderful piece about the great & courageous Mr. Turcotte. May he & his family continue to thrive.

Being a jockey Isa very dangerous sport
Ron had the best horses under him & I admire him also the way he rides that wheelchair with gratitude & not a pity party. What a high to ride Secretariat tho🏇❤️🏇🌹🌹🌹🌹
What a story!!!❤😢😊
Wonderful horse with a Jockey who understood how to allow him to become great!
There's goes again❤❤❤
I love the license plate on his red van! “BIG RED4” We love you Ronnie!!
I love this !!!! ❤️
Nossa, que imagem, 02:37 nunca tinha visto desse ângulo , é fenomenal uma máquina realmente.
Comecei a ver corrida todo ano por causa dessa história desse monstro em geral da fazenda.
I love Ron Turcotte. Hes a wonderful person. I feel so bad that he was hurt. Its such a dangerous sport.
What is weird, Secretariat hated roses.
That’s always amused me! He rejected the fanciest of flowers 😆I guess he was a PB&J kind of a guy 😃

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
She may be the shortest but she is still the cutest!
265,000 trees? He had 265,000 trees planted? Now that is incredible!
“it’s getting tougher & tougher, horses are more fragile” because they’re run more often or what did he mean?
Always remember he was just a baby
16:18 WTH? Jesus rescued him from alcohol and drugs so he can turn to gambling?
As a 13 year old I watched Secretariat's historic run live, simply awestruck and inspired by both horse and rider. Thank you for this documentary, really enjoyed it~!
