I recommend the amp research steps. I love them on my 2012 ram 1500. I live in Pittsburgh PA winters get bad. I never had problem only some snow build up in the joint keeps them from going up all the way. I would either spray them with a hose or put a glove on and wipe the snow off..

I bought a 2015 and put 34s on it with a levelling kit, now I feel discusted with myself lol.
I am going to start over and do a 6 lift on 37s.
I live in Atlantic Canada where we get snowed in on the regular, so the bigger the better up here. I'm taking a page out of your book man, going with a bigger kit all around. Beauty truck man, keep the Vids coming.

I really appreciate that. If I were to do it again the only thing I would change is the lift. I would buy a BDS or zone not rough country. Just my opinion.
@@elvisebanks2469 they were stock gears. 3.55 if i remember correctly. I had no issues. Truck would spin the tires with eeeez.
@@crvic9382 I have a 2013 ram 1500 4x4 bighorn with the 5.7l and 3:55 gears. I have a 6" bds lift I plan to have installed i think around feb or so as I am still waiting to get a few things . The 6" bds calls for 37x12.50 but everywhere I read says 3:55 gears dont handle that huge a tire and would cause downshifting , loss of power and just not good on the diffs or trans. So I am kinda rethinking the 37s and planning to run 35x12.50 on 22 or 24's just havent decided as yet what size or finish that I want. My truck is also bright silver metallic in color with chrome door handles and bumpers.

FYI, I have the AMP RESEARCH POWER Steps on my 2015 1500 and they are awesome. I love them. I prefer the way the truck looks without running boards/steps. It kinda gives the illusion that the truck is higher than it really is. The Amp steps have LED lights on them. They turn on when you open the door. Nice little touch. I paid $1600 for them installed. It was the first mod I did and well worth the investment.

No, I live in South Florida. I guess you could unplug them from the ODB II port if a big freeze was coming. Or check with AMP Research that might be covered by the warranty.

Nice truck I have a 2010 alt hemi. The rubber is awesome but it tosses up stones. Fender flares and or mud flaps will save your paint..

Does it rub any? My local 4wheelparts tells me 37's may fit but they'll have to trim the bumper and rear wheel well and that's going with a 37/12.5/20 on a 9 inch wide wheel with a 5 inch backspace

Crvic truck is bad ass bro! I have the exact same truck and lift but my ride sits lower on the front end by 3". Install shop said it's normal on rams. Obviously isn't. Can you get a shot of the front strut spacer?

Love everything about your truck badass, perfect for sure! The only thing I would change is the rims, I would rock some 18" off-road wheels instead of the fuel. Where I live in Canada those God damn rims are everywhere lol I'm sick of seeing them. Other than that killer truck! Nice job 👌🏻

No rub? I'm on 6 inch super lift 35x11.5 on 20x10 visions -25 offset wondering if rub full lock on 37x12.50 I'm missing my side wall look
Also just bedline your stock steps it's what I did Wisconsin salt cracked clear coat so to save free steps I sprayed em for 150$
I'm looking to get the same lift and same size tires. My only concern is I want to paint all the lift parts blue and am wondering if u can still see a lot of the lift parts once there on? Are they visible so that painting wouldn't be a waste?
ummm. ya id say it would be worth it. specially in the front like the upper control arm and the coil springs. i actually just painted my calipers hemi orange and it looks amazing. sticks out alot.

Hey nice truck. I had a question I have a Dodge Ram 1500. Do you think I can fit 37.5 x 14 -16 inch rim with a 7 inch lift with a -25mm 4 inch back space? Do you have any issues on rubbing or anything ? Thank you
Danny Brock. Not sure. Mine wasn't rubbing for the first year. The. My alignment got messed up and ever since i got it realigned it started to rub. Drove me crazy so i traded the truck in.
Thank you. I was trying to find a 16x10 positive 0 to +12mm but I can only find it in a -25. So I hope it don't rub. I will only drive the truck once in a great while or second hand work truck so maybe if I don't mudd with it. Thanks for all the info I'll take it all in.

i put them on myself. it was easy. they go right over the cloth seats.

Reyth3king Pino. look up clazzio seat covers on ebay or google. i bought mine off ebay and they still look new today. good material. definitely worth the money.
Bro check out the trucks that blacked out the chrome with the rust o leom bed liner spray, It would look sick on your truck, this method is cheap and looks and i way more durable than plasty dip, It would make your truck 100% better, im doing my chrome step rails now ill send you a pic if you like 👍

Ian King can't swap the gearing in a 2011 truck and up. somthing to do with the rear axle not letting you do it. lots of money if you choose to do it. my 2010 is the last accessible model and they still want 2700 to do it where I live.

No rub or scrub issues with those rims and tires or did you have to trim or lift the truck in front with shocks
i have no rubbing issues at all. when i got it lifted they trimmed the plastic piece under the front bumber just a very little bit. and no i didnt add any bigger shocks in the front just running the straight 6 inch rough country lift.
needs 3 inch body and those rims in 20x14s with 35s 37s would rub on 20x14s. but 35s with that lift 9 inches would look great. also color match the mirrors and the grill.
I know you said its only been a month or two but have you had any experience off road with the fuel grippers yet? ive been looking into those but cant find ANY reviews on them yet, love the way they look though awesome tires. I have Fuel Krank 18" rims on my 04150 with a 6 " rough country lift also. currently runnin Cooper Discoverer ST/Maxx which are awesome but i love the look of those, and never see them on the road.

At what shop did you get your wheels and tires? And how much ? My truck is in the shop now getting a 6" lift but now I need wheels
i dont know where they came from because the shop that i got it lifted at ordered them. $3600 just for the tires and rims. but i heard alot of good thing about mrwheeldeal. com. suppost to be inexpensive and will ship them to your house mounted and balanced. i will definitely be ordering from them next time.

I dont really know any pros or cons on the different lift kits but like i said i have the rough country and i have no complaints.
+Azul7890 some people dont like rough country cause its "cheaper" but they make awesome products that really hold up to the more expensive stuff. i have a 6" rough country lift on my 04 f150 and love it. ive heard rough country has a little less flex then some but they did it to retain the factory geometery and keep the ride to near stock comfort and also keep the towing and hauling capabilites the same. and my truck is great off road and have never had any issues with the lift kit.. wouldnt hesitate to buy rough country again.
If they salt the roads like crazy in Chicago, under coat the truck to keep that baby rust free. Beautiful truck, good luck with it.

ya i installed them myself. it wasn't really hard it was more time consuming if anything. only because they are such a tight fit it was kind of a pain to get some of the pieces on but well worth it. there is a video on TH-cam of the company that makes them actually installing them and the video helped me alot.

KrisV9. at first i didn't but then my alignment went outta wack and it was never right agin. started to rub front bumper. 5 different alignments at 5 different shops. i think it had something to do with the rough country lift. so i just traded it in on a 17 ram limited.

how is the rough country suspension I'm thinking about putting one on mine...?
to be very honest the truck feels stock. very smooth ride still. i have a buddy that has the rough country lift on a silverado and it rides horrible. its mainly because of the independent coil suspension on the ram 1500 that its able to stay so smooth. they add blocks on top of your coils so your pretty much keeping the stock suspension

Justin Forrester. no it didn't at first then my alignment screwed up somehow and ever since then i cant get anybody to align it correctly without it rubbing. so i traded the truck in last week and got a 2017 ram limited. no more lift kits 4 me. lol
