thays just to hold the hood up higher right? for more clearance. I tried this but couldnt find a way to put it down and close the hood. so I put it back. useful trick none the less.
Cool trick. Thing is you have to remove the hood lifter from it's original space to do this. You gotta do that every time, right? Can you just put the lifter back into its valance without reconnecting it to it's original point?
