@@crpitzyyy Like imagine adding shaped charges! They would penetrate through walls, so you could kill through the wall, except it costs as much as the C4. Also, a hole would be left after it. Would be extremely useful against campers! Or maybe a game mode where you protect your convoy of fuel trucks, and you will have to clear their way, and the people who will protect it will have 30 loadout point, but they will be only three, and the other 7 will have 15 points, and will spawn randomly around the borders of the road, and three people periodically get chosen as the trucker's, like this! Its nice they're updating things more frequently than before. Not sure why now, but the first year or two on Quest was only minor improvements it seemed
Favorite mode so far. The objective is very situational when it’s worth going for so it dose turn into death match often. Since the objective shows the enemies where you are when you take it. And sometimes heli has horrible extract locations sometimes. Like on turbine bottom of dam blocking one side with blades of helicopter forcing you to go across dam to get to helicopter.
Thanks for sharing that. I was wondering if it was just my experience. I actually only saw one round that made it to the helicopter. Teams seemed to use the drive to draw the other team out
Apparently I have heard from some of my vr friends* that they killed this game the moment they implemented quest parity. Game could have been like Arma and supported up to like 50 players thanks to mods, which now don’t work. Shame! I still kinda wanna play it though.
@@premiumrekapp pc is a whole different spectrum of immersion. You already have a quest so all you need at this point is a pc if you want to jump in. In todays world you can get a pretty decent vr rig for 700 dollars. AND you are also getting a computer ofcourse, so you can play all the pc flatscreen games and do stuff like editing videos. :)
Wow finally, the Devs have literally been sitting on a goldmine for the last 4-5 years and until now all they did was port it over to oculus which was a downgrade. Happy to see they haven't completely abandoned it.
I agree and felt the same way. On Quest, it sat for quite awhile before more was added. Now, it seems like we're getting something new every couple of months. Hope they keep it up, still such a great game
What are things you'd like to see in the future for Onward?
Co-op, except you have the corpsman with you!
@@CorruptedSpider i like it! I'm enjoying the new role alot
@CorruptedSpider same i want the corpsman in vr. Id also like some new weapons or explosives.

I haven’t played onward in like 3 weeks so this update will be fun. 🎉

Hey bro, thank you for replying fast and giving me good advice. I’ll sub (:
@@funman0056 thanks very much, I try to post as often as I can. I'm not a big-time content creator, so it's something I tackle outside my day job
I HAVENT PLAYED FOR LIKE 3 MONTHS
@@-SparkVR- time to return. It's probably changed alot since you last played. There was another big update around July too

You can revive enemies as well. Take ‘em hostage if you want
Haha, no way! Got to try that now. Thanks for the tip!
It may be hard to notice, but in the menu music, they removed the drill instructor shouting “LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT!” in the background of the music
Good ears! Didn't catch that

Jeez, 50 players?! That'd be awesome. I've heard the parity hurt the graphics especially. I'm a quest player but I could see why PC would be bothered

@@lolpl0000 I'm strongly considering the leap. I see the graphics and game support, seems totally worth it.
Maybe they spent that 1 or 2 years to optimize and improve their tools so they can add things for the coming years to come
Yeah, very well could be. Glad to see everything they're adding now. I find myself coming back to Onward alot more often lately
