    Wow that's really cool! This was a good video. Is there a gold version, or a way to get them in gold?
    Clay!

      Thanks so much! Yes there is a gold version - ArtClay do a 22ct gold one. It’s eye-wateringly expensive but so beautiful. For a more economical alternative they can also be plated for a gold vermeil version. The full tutorial is available on my channel if you are interested! 💫

    I assume you would never want to especially cause you'd want to work on a small scale that wouldn't need it but can you convert dried out silver clay into silver clay slip in order to better attatch two pieces. Idk mostly asking cause it could make some really interesting sculptures and art if you can use silver clay to make really intracate silver art pieces.
    Also does the clay come in other metals like idk aluminum or something cheap or is it just silver and gold?

      Yes, you absolutely can! You can buy a slip ready made (called silver clay paste) or make your own. It also comes in copper and bronze (and gold, but that’s fiendishly expensive) 😊

    I saw the previous version of this, and you got rid of the nipple mold :( why’d you do that?

    • @Cognac_Jewellery_School
      @Cognac_Jewellery_School  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      😂 don’t worry, they nipple mould lives on - I just made a few different pieces in one go. It’s actually available in my shop if you want to see what it really is!

    Do you bake it in a kiln or can you use a home oven?

    • @Cognac_Jewellery_School
      @Cognac_Jewellery_School  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      A home oven won’t be hot enough, but you can fire it with a blowtorch instead which is a good alternative

    I get green marks from sterling silver, will this happen with silverclay too?

    • @Cognac_Jewellery_School
      @Cognac_Jewellery_School  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If your reaction is down to the alloys rather than the silver itself you could try the fine silver version (.999% silver) - could be worth a go?

      It would be possible to enamel/cold enamel after firing - that’s actually something I’m planning for a future video 😊
