Changing from Public to Private network, Click on Wi Fi Tab in Taskbar, click on the connection at top, Click Properties, then set switch to "Make this PC discoverable" for private setting, turn off for Public settings....check in Firewall Control Panel.

no matter what i do i cannot remove Public and change win 7 ultimate to workgroup or any other!!!!!!!!!1
Every now and then I have noticed it pop up allowing me to select workgroup or home for example
ive tried everything, shutdowsm, restarts, regedit, disconnect cables, disable nic etc etc
its stuck in Public
