Another fine winter day with fog, rain and a chill in the air. Trains going into and out of the fog. The landscape around Western NY looks pretty deary in the height of the winter.

How do you find the information on the origin and destination of each train? Appreciate the time and knowledge it takes to produce this video. There are so many subjects one could delve into from this video.
He's not supposed to know that information. I'm guessing he some how has access to the YES system for CSX.

We have CN, CP and BNSF in my area! My favorite spot is a campground right next to the BNSF... busy, busy! ❤️🚂

Worth taking note...big blue Grand Trunk hi-cube and speed-lettered Southern Pacific autorack on "surprise" NS316..."patched-up" Triple Crowns @12:46 and @13:05...good-looking pair of green BN hoppers @16:28...liked the Guilford MEC -- Pan Am boxcar duo @20:42 as NS316 re-appears on a beautiful May day. 👍👍

First train going to Elkhart Indiana!! My best friend is a conductor out of there and I’m trying to work as an engine maintenance guy out of Elkhart. Pretty cool to see the same trains. And the CSX trains you see I also see in my hometown

ChainsawN&W1218, that's a great spot too film being able to catch CSX and NS meets,nice lash ups and a wide variety of air horns,from Nathan K5LLA on SD70ACES to Leslie model air horns on some older and new units, like the Leslie S5T,think that might be what's on the CSX Law Enforcement unit!👍🛤🚂

Good day I live in Chautauqua County I'm a truck driver I run dedicated out of Bellevue Ohio and deliver to a customer in Northeast right along the tracks and I found that very interesting that the Norfolk Southern runs out of Bellevue into New York that Bellevue yard is a pretty big and busy yard I park pretty close to that train yard in Bellevue have a good day

18:40 Of note at the head end of the NS 316 are the single-level "autoracks" designed for carrying new large commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, etc)

The trains are very busy 😅
The " manifest" was a paper form that defined the train by blocks, destinations and lading. Hence any use of this term as an adjective is in error. On the New Haven the "Q-7" form or simply "the Q" was used.

I believe I no why the short trains. Some business will close for up to two weeks around Christmas and New Years. So they won’t have the work being moved. Get a week or so and we should be back to normal. Even that trains terminate at those yards does not mean it is the end. What it means is that is where the rail cars are resorted for the next leg of there trip. Some cars come all the way across the country. So some of the loads could take a good part of a week to get where they need to be. Steven Sipes

Since you give the date after every train that goes by it is important that you be accurate.
