I'm so sad I didn't get to meet you. I was on the same cruise as you. It was a great cruise for my first one. Going to do GBR in a month's time.

Great tips. Do you tip the stewards at the end of your cruise?

Thanks for your video Rob and Ali!!! Just a couple of questions:
    - can you take the towel out of the room to use offshore?
    - is there a hairdryer in the bathroom?
    - do they refill the soap and shampoos when they are empty?
    Thanks.

Hi and thanks for watching. Sorry for the delay in replying.
      - Yes, you can take the towels off the ship. What you do with them when you bring them back can vary. You may need to take them to your cabin for the steward to replace, sign them back in if you have signed them out or put them in a big tub that will be around the reboarding areas.
      - There is a hairdryer in all cabins but usually they are in the living area, not the bathroom. There aren't usually any power sockets in the bathrooms either so you can't really plug your own in to use in there, unless you have a long extension lead from the main cabin area. - Finally, never had the soap/shampoo dispensers run out on us but I assume that they check them on the clean each day. If they do run out just ask your cabin steward then it will be done.
      Hope this helps.

Don’t forget to clean the peep hole , to stop the spread of pink eye etc.

There's a peep hole? Never noticed one before. It might depend on which ship you are on I guess.

Thanks heaps, just wondering where you got your door magnet printed? And you can also put all your safe items in a ziplock bag so when you remove them you know you are getting everything out.

Hi Debbie. The ziplock bag is a great idea. We'll do that next time. Saves anything getting left in a corner in the safe. The magnets were made by Vistaprint. You just design what you want online and they make it. No minimum quantity. I think these were around $25 each (we have 2 of them)

You should change wipes between each item you wipe. This prevents the virus spreading from one item to another.

Not necessary - the wipe remains effective while it is damp

@@gandjconway30 it is practice that is done as a full isolation clean in hospitals.
