In the US there is a big drive to make the Battle hymn of the Republic to be our National Anthem. Honestly, I don’t really get why there is such an avoidance to having very bellicose songs as national anthems. If the founding mythos of a country is strong enough to be its main ideals and identity then that should be reflected in how the country is willing to defend them tooth and nail.

Das ist doch alles gegeben? Die Probleme die in Deutschland vorliegen sind nicht unserer Staatsform geschuldet und spielten in der damaligen Revolution auch keine Rolle.
