I used to cry all the time for my mom when my parents would drop me off at school when i was little. So my mom came up with the idea to kiss me on the hand with matte lipstick and every time i would be sad or missed her i would just look at my hand and i would remember everything would be okay!

My son is going into 4th grade this year. I didn't cry when he started preschool nor any of the years following. I have always been excited for him to start a new adventure. My daughter is starting preschool this year so I'm curious how she'll react! I wont cry either. I'm excited to see her grow up and be a big girl!

My oldest 1st day in school was great, I cried. My youngest 1st day she didn't cry but for a month after that she cried, screamed and bit the teacher. Would hang on to the fence. I was a wreck. She loved school after that month. Don't worry. Jackson will love it. He's a really great child.
Both of mine walked in and started playing with the toys and book and never checked up. I balled
Hopefully you both did well at drop off today! My first baby was a breeze going into preschool! We walked in and he walked away to play (Momma teared up a bit with that one) It wasn't until like a week later that I would start dropping him off and his teacher would have to hold him while he would scream and cry when I left and tried to pull open the door to run out multiple times! It broke my heart so much I almost pulled him out of school but luckily his teacher convinced me to keep him in and all was well! It will get easier! Hang in there momma❤

I actually work in child care and the best thing to do is to point out cool toys as the kid is entering the room and when they run over to see the toys, quickly leave. if they cry, the best thing to do is DO NOT COME BACK IN because the workers know how to distract your kid and make them happy
