This is what I always thought God accepts the Prodigal Son we don't come to Jesus Perfect. Confession brings us closer to God, not pushing us away, which is a common misconception, especially in the secular world..A lot of the Saints came to Jesus as broken people living hedonist lifestyles before finding God in Jesus and attempting to perfect themselves in the light of God

Great testimony. I think we will always talk about sexuality, because we have to remember that God created men and women. No men can have sex with a men, if a men or a woman feel attracted to the same sex, pray to God, he will show you the way and will guide you to follow him. Once you have God in your life, you will feel that you don't have the need to be with some body the same sex. If we want to serve the Lord, we have to do what he tells us to do. We are all God's children, and we have to love one another, but is sin that can't be accepted. Blessings to you Seamus.
