I understand his testimony,only came to the church late 20's, lots of problems..I was formely suicidal on and off ...God brings you together...I went to Medjugore a few years back and it was lovely. I wasnt new to being a Catholic I went to mass regularly well before but strangley i had just completed an alpha course, my prayers were answered for an easy confirmation after shirking the issue for years..Oh I did start reading the whole of the new testament and that helped my faith enormously and going to daily Mass

Michael is absolutely fantastic!! Thus is probably one of THE BEST interviews/testimonies I’ve heard here & I’ve listened to tonnes of them!
Michael is sooo articulate & clear in what he says. He uses wonderful analogies to explain his points. He’s vey honest & direct & everything he says resonates with me. While I’m not gay or have lgbt issues, I still have all the other problems, blocks, concerns, worries & annoyances etc & annoyances with God....whom I refer to as the ‘invisible man’ who’s turned deaf ears to my prayers. I get really angry with God at times for all these rules & laws & obligations he demands from us & everything is a sin in the Catholic Church & I wonder why I bother with it, because following Gods rules is not fun, there’s no fun in being Catholic. It’s a miserable existence. While most young ppl in Ireland or anywhere don’t bother going to Mass or pray & I wonder why I bother?! I even call the Holy Family the misery family. There’s nothing but rules rules & more rules while spouting the “free will” line. And as soon as you use your free will, you’re nabbed!! Sinned & it’s like a black mark against you cause you used your free will wrongly.... not in his will. God to me, is all about HIS will! We HAVE to follow HIS will otherwise we’ll have black marks against us... so it’s NOT free will!!
