- Lee "Perfect" Powder Measure, not far off. This is a great buy if your needing a low cost powder measure. Highly recomended. This thing acually out performs my Hornaday powder measure for accuracy & ease of use. Not the strongest design but it works well, just keep in mind it is made of plastic.
Dead on accurate once you run a few loads through it, removing any air gaps. Have had mine for over a decade still dead on accurate.
Well I have the Hornady Powder Measure on my AP press, and I have a bench mount for it as well. When I watched your video I went and picked up a Lee Perfect Powder Measure, and I've got to say it blew me away! I'm now wanting to get the Lee Breech Lock Cast Single Stage, and the Lee Classic Turret Presses! Thank you sir for reminding me about a company that I had forgotten about that has been around longer than I have! Awesome video!!

I love my Lee products. Sometimes you might have do a little tweaking but for the money Lee is a fantastic value. God bless and be safe.

Thanks for your review. I've been pondering whether or not to get the Lee Perfect or a more expensive model like the Lyman, RCBS or Hornady, all of which are considerably more expensive. Up to now, I have weighed each single charge to the tenth with both the electronic and beam scale. This gets to be a long labor of love. I know in the Hornady videos, they always use the powder measure. I'm not cheap but consider myself to be frugal. Your video has helped me decide to save some cash and get the Lee. I just tried metering Varget with my RCBS about an hour ago and it is so inaccurate I simply will not use it on Varget or similar powders. I have both Lee and RCBS and I have actually had better results with the Lee products, although I don't have the Lee powder measure. I might invest in one based on this review.
excellenct review, i have had mine for awhile but just now starting to use it again. For the price you just cannot beat it.
Hello brother, very nice review. I bought the same powder measure to reload for my 7-08 and 308 because I was initially on a budget. I, like you found that it was very consistent. To me there was absolutely no reason to look for another measure after that.
Oz Camp n Hunt Dan I agree, I’ve had mine for years now and loaded thousands of rounds with it. My son even uses it alone to load his his power match ammo. I have no plans to replace it.

Lee "perfect Powder Measure" is the most accurate powder measure you will find anywhere. It has some leakage problems with the fine powders but no big deal. The accuracy is the most important part and have been using one for over 15 years.
Pisses me off about the leakage yeah. Just pull apart and a quick clean and adjust your tention with the side screw
For the price Lee reloading products are very cost effective. Ultimately most reloaders buy more equipment as they learn what they prefer. I'm glad I started out with a Lee Breechlock Challenger kit when I first started reloading. Some folks love their dies.

I've been very happy with mine just wish the hopper was bigger but it throws consistantly with cfe223.
Same, that Lee measure came with my classic kit and I still use it. The Lee scale I dont use but only because its slow, not because its not accurate.

i use it with flake, ball, and exruded powder. it does pretty well with all of them, but really shines with extruded powder.

Just started reloading and tired of the measuring each load want something different going to give that a try
Lee makes the best equipment for the $ always have.i try too stick whith lee on everything.but I do try other brands and end up back with lee.👌🇺🇸
Probably the best for the money! But my pro powder measure is another of Lee which is as good as any of other all medal powder measures.

The review was good and in agreement with my experience. I have one of these but hsd not used it until I started loading. 45 ACP where trickling 4.8 gr was flat tedious. (.223 and 30-06 can be scooped.) An actual demonstration would have helped.
This dumper dispenses +/- 0.1 gr each time. Plastic versus durability? Buy two and use the second when the first wears out.

that is my experience i just randomly check the powder charge after checking the first five but its very reliable.
Thank you for the words of encouragement my fellow brother in the Lord! Also, do you notice as your charging loads with this, that it seems like it starts to clog, and is harder to pull after 20 or so pulls?
seems like I have to take it apart and clean it so it pulls easier.
Patriot 72 I haven't noticed that on mine. I use it exclusively for precision loads. I will drop a charge a little under my desired charge and trickle up to the exact amount. I mainly use it for stick powders and it has worked well. Thanks for watching.

Hi i am new to reloading but Is this just for pistol and rifle powder loads or will it also do 12ga and 20ga powder loads up to 40gr of Longshot powder for 12ga slugs??
I'm not sure about but would think that it would work with any powder. I have used it with many kinds of course and stick powders with good results. I don't load shot shells so sorry I can't say for sure, but also don't see why not. Good luck.
It's hard to throw light charges with this under 1.5 grains.
Good to know haven't ever had a need for very light charges because I use it for rifle only. Thanks for the feedback.
There is a guy on the internet who showed this Powder Measure in his kitchen. He is using it to measure sugar for his coffee! LOL
