To me she's the female goat, we can all have our opinions, some will say Ronda, Amanda or Cyborg but for me it's definitely JJ. 👏 What a legend! Get this amazing woman a spot in the HOF Dana! She's earned that spot with decades of commitment, putting her blood, sweat and no doubt many tears too into our sport. Her fight career may be coming to an end but her legacy and her legend will continue for the rest of her lifetime.

I don’t really follow Joanna much so hearing her say she would like to race Dakar was a pleasant surprise. MMA and any kind of motorized racing are may favorites sports, good luck to her! Also, this is another classic example of why Megan Olivi is such a great reporter. She is very professional and clearly has passion for the sport.

People always retire and sometimes come back…Miesha took a break and now she is back. Retiring is a strategy people use to give themselves a break to improve themselves: mentally physically and have more time to train to improve skills in some cases.

mad props for her, for not only retiring but also giving us in insight to what led to it and why. Not a lot of fighters would even speak to media after a loss. But for those who do, they gain a lot of supporters out there. Saying goodbye to a sport they love, any sport or even an activity you do is really difficult to do.

Man what a legend. Literally built that division and is sometimes not brought up when people talk about Ronda's era. Joanna was right there with Ronda literally building women's mma in the UFC. Always fun to watch and such a warrior. Sad to see her go, but also happy to see her retire on her own terms and make peace with it. Hope she gets inducted into the hall of fame. Cheers JJ, thanks for the ride
