No way 300+hp not with out boost. But that mt07 looks like a fun bike. Looks way comfortable.
there is a turbo kit available, ive seen a video of a dude riding with a 120hp mt07 just search it.. :D

Thanks for your review on the MT-07. I love mine, I like how nimble it is but I do need a windscreen for highway driving speeds to direct wind off my guts.
Without a turbo / nitrous / supercharger, there is no way that's pushing 336 HP.

Got my 2015 FZ-07 from the old DE Yamaha in Goshen, still rides great.
I call Major BS on the 335hp….. set up a dyno day and prove us wrong but no way 300+

You’d have no problem poppin a wheelie on the 07. The starter version of the MT line, that you asked about is the MT-03.

Not really, the engine has been tweaked a little, gearing has too. Then you have the better aerodynamics that improve top end, still they should have put an inline four in it imo 😎

I’d get the MT07 in a heart beat but the 690 SMCR is a better option imo
I was looking for the 690 duke 3 same shit anyway the problem is tha the mt is a better option coz is more trustworthey
MT07 has it beat in reliability and maintenance cost and much lower price.
That's not really comparing apples to apples because the KTM is a sumo and almost twice as much. It cost about as much as an MT-10. Plus Yamaha reliability. Yeah, no contest..

On the motor, i don’t believe it. Unless it’s on the juice or hiding a gnarly blower or hairdryer.
Probably the best first bike you can own. But In my opinion, gets boring quit fast, like other starterbikes.

Idk how it works over there, but here in the UK most fully comprehensive insurance policies allows you to ride other peoples bike on the same policy, as long as the other bikes you ride have insurance too. Always check your own policy when taking it out if you are likely to ride other peoples bikes, as it's not always the case.

mt 07 is nothing compared to the cb650r lol, 125cc bike with 700cc engine with less hp than a 650cc bike
Well the cb is 2k more so there's that. Then the power on the mt is lower in the rev range so most reviewers say that its easier to ride on the street. But with the price gap I dont even know if those 2 bikes should be in the same class. The mt09 on the other hand is the same price as the cb and stomps it in every category.
Ps the 650 engine is an inline 4 where the mt07 is a parallel twin so the 07 is making 20 less hp with 2 less cylinders. Cc does not equal more hp.

@@warrensmith792 For drag racing sure, but street you would have to be insane to try and ride it, I have seen what a 250 hp R1 can do on the street, they don't ride it often and cant be ridden to its potential.
