Thank you for always doing the deep research/analysis, always something deeper to learn. Love Saturdays with Renee! Only thing I'll add, speaking of Trojan candidates, pre-Emilys List Laphonza Butler learned union busting as President of SEIU Local 2015, then went on to consult Uber on the Proposition 22 campaign to keep drivers as independent contractors in the wake of other legislation passing that would have barred that designation for most rideshare drivers. Needless to say, not everyone in the Bay Area was excited for Newsom's pick to replace Feinstein...
I did mention Uber in the article… there are a few that worked with them but specifically mentioned that Butler was part of the team fighting the drivers.
@@reneecj Oh yeah, I know, I was just taking it one step back to being the President of SEIU Local as a supposed progressive they snuck in there, a la Cory Booker. Just knew a few people in the home care local, they did not have kind words about her during her tenure. Sorry, didn't mean to imply the Uber part was left out! Thanks again!
Ahhhh… no worries. The union is absolutely noteworthy. I knew and I believe it’s referenced. In the link I attached to her name. The whole thing is a mess. I also forgot to say that I’m not surprised people weren’t happy with the pick for senate. She wouldn’t have been my pick either. 😂
Will Harris winning the presidency move us a step closer to total liberation. And what is more important at this time-a united front or a vote for imperialism or fascism?
'It's not a number, it's a mindset.' Exactly. Middle 'class' means middle _income_ and the term's use is more about divide and conquer tactics than anything else.
@@bemusedobserver6476 respectfully disagreeing, the laughter is extremely relatable lol. We can all agree, this is a pretty wild situation we continue to find ourselves in. If it were only laughter without deep analysis, without the many nuances discussed in detail, then I’d agree that distraction is present. Until then, keep being honest. All of it is appreciated 🫶🏾✨✊🏾
@jodianschaaffe3259 I understand what you are saying, but the gigglings are always there, no matter the subject. I do understand the absurdity of the US political system. And I'm being honest. We just have a difference of opinion.
Asante sana for the research.
