It’s a really good hairmask for the price and my boyfriend loves the banana scent! I used this as an overnight hairmask after bleaching my hair and it helped quite a bit. My hair was DRY AS THE SAHARA. I also used different oils etc. but this really helped with the dryness/coarse feel. Could be a coincidence. Maybe because I used a ton. I guess we will never know
I love using this mask overnight and have had even better results! No coincidences here, this is packed full of amazing ingredients that will help so much with dry hair ☺️
I used to do the exact same to my hair and finding the best hair mask was essential in getting it in the best condition ☺️ hopefully my other hair care videos also help on your healthy hair journey! X

@@sarax1386 yes. It’s a moisture mask. Of else it will say it’s reparative. I don’t think for the amount of banana this has it’s considered a protein mask at all.
New viewer here loved your down to earth and friendly style you have a pleasent voice and manner to watch and listen to. Enjoyed the video a great deal.
I have used this and I love it. I have fine hair but a lot of it, I love your wack it on method but I tried that too and I found that I have too much product on the top and mid section that when I washed it off it felt heavy and like product wasn’t washed out properly but I gave it another go and it worked wonders.
I’m so pleased you love the product! I definitely don’t have that much hair (in terms of thickness) and find whacking it on if fine for me, but if you have thicker hair I’d definitely recommend sectioning your hair and working small amounts in at a time to ensure even distribution. It smells great, right?!
Your hair looks very nice!! I think it's a good product, I can see that it seems to have weighted your hair down a bit but overall kinda gives your hair a tropical vibe! Thanks for your video.
Ok, I’m a guy with long hair and limited hair care knowledge! I used to wet my hair in the shower everyday but I’ve been told by girl friends that I shouldn’t do that and only wash hair once a week. The last few months I’ve been keeping my hair dry during the week & washing it with Aussie products on a Sunday. My question is can I use the hair food mid-week like wet my hair in the shower, use hair food, leave in for 10 mins and then rinse out whilst shampooing every Sunday as normal?
Hey! Thanks for commenting. I’d say wetting your hair without washing can be causing more damage as your hair is most fragile when wet; washing more than once a week is absolutely fine to prevent product build up and to cleanse the scalp. In terms of using the hair foods, I’d recommend using it as a leave in conditioner after you wash your hair and use as a mask before you wash it too. Adding it on dry hair won’t do anything based on my experience. Hope this helps?
Of course you can! Some people advise not putting conditioner on the scalp to help prevent premature greasy roots but you definitely can; I’ll often condition my scalp when my hair is feeling dehydrated ☺️
Do you just wet it before applying without using shampoo? And then to wash it off do you wash as normal with shampoo? I am complete newbie to this, never done a hair mask.
That’s how I find hair masks to be most affective - wet/spray hair and apply a hair mask for 30/60 minutes depending how how much of a deep conditioning treatment you need. Once the time has passed, wash off with shampoo and conditioner and your hair will feel so revitalised! Highly recommend - are you currently looking for hair masks to try? ☺️
Thanks so much lovely, it is really nice to use plus it being so easy is always a plus as busy mums! I’d recommend the Alex-Plex I reviewed last week as a one off treatment too, I was so impressed with that 🤍
I am not sure what are the more expensive products that you are using, but with products without silicone it takes around half a year for your hair to adapt. In the first few months your hair will lose the silicone shine. So if you are using products with silicone, that’s why you find them “better”. :) Other than that I did like your video and honest review too, I’m going to give this a go! Thank you for sharing it 😊
i like to mix the banana, aloe and papaya hair masks and apply, cos to me it’s perfect for me as i abuses my hair with so much bleach lmao, but the hair masks work wonders✨
The protein levels in these is pretty minimal to be honest, only that from the banana, there’s tonnes of other masks that have a higher protein level which would be better suited ☺️
So pleased you’re seeing a difference already! Such great products and the versatility means you can try a range of ways to find the best one for you ☺️
A moisturising one at its core! I find the longer you leave hair masks on, the better the results are. I have a video where I leave this one overnight if you’re curious ☺️
hi! i have quite thin hair that isn't really curly, it's got some waves and it's low porosity, do you suggest me getting the banana one? i'm new to all this stuff lol thankyou!! x
Hair masks do this as a side effect by looking after your hair - hair loss can be caused by a range of reasons so if you’re worried, I’d recommend consulting your doctor ☺️
I would recommend a bond building treatment over this for damaged hair to that extent, check out my video on pureplex (it’s a super affordable Olaplex dupe) that is amazing for damaged hair x
i used to work in a Factory that ships these products, we had to pack those by thousands, after several days I had headaches from the perfume I think its not as organic as they say, the worst one was the water melon one. but maybe its good product, I dont know what to think
It lists there is a fragrance in the product transparently in the back so I think being surrounded around it in a factory would be much more intense than a customer with the product in their hand. Sorry you had to experience that, but truthfully, these are fantastic products!
@@Blondeamy Thank you that's great! I was about to complain after seeing other comments on Amazon from people who said theirs must be used because it is already opened & not sealed 🤣
Damn I just bought this product but a shmapoo yesterday. I have very thick and straight hair, like straw. I wash my hair daily with water and once a week I would use this as a shampoo. Is that okay way to manage my hair?
I wouldn’t recommend as a shampoo as it doesn’t have clarifying or cleansing agents, only conditioning ones which is why it’s a conditioner/hair mask/leave in hybrid. Lots of ways to still use the product but to get best results I’d use a shampoo beforehand 🥰
Hi. Im wondering about the 3 different uses. Whats the difference between "as a conditioner" and "as a mask" as a conditioner you wash it out quickly after applying it and as a mask you let it sit 3 minutes? Im wondering, because this application/use seems to be almost the same Then im wondering, as a leave in conditioner, how does that work? You shampoo like normally then when you get out of the shower you apply a smaller amount in wet hair and then just leave it and never wash it out? Im assuming you use less product if its leave-in than if youre gonna wash it out soon after?
Hey! Great question, I have a video where I dive more into that with the Goji version of the hair mask. For me, I’d say a conditioner would be for a few minutes, a mask I’d leave it on longer (30 mins +) and then a leave in. The conditioner and mask element are definitely similiar where described on the packaging. With the leave in element, I’d shampoo and condition as normal and add a tiny amount to wet hair after before blow drying/letting it air dry. Yes you only need a tiny amount as a leave in, whereas as a mask/conditioner you use a lot more ☺️
@@Blondeamy Thanks a lot for that answer Amy :D So, if one is to use it as a leave in, would u then say its not wise to use other products with it? Like for example, if I apply some Hair Food after I showered, can I then not apply salt water spray or argan oil in my hair ontop of it?
Haha happy to help! I wouldn’t use an oil on top as it could weigh the hair down which you don’t want, or for your hair to look greasy as hair food is quite a thick leave in. Salt spray for styling would be fine though as long as you use just a little ☺️
@@Blondeamy Thanks. I have pretty thick hair tho so idk if it would weigh the hair down, but I will just try only hair food + salt water spray to see how it is. (im a guy) Also, my hair is pretty dry and brittle, do you have any recommendations for this? I started showering with shampoo less often and that seemed to help, as my hair isnt greasy at all it seems silly to wash the few oils out constantly.
It’s definitely open to experimentation and give both a go and see which you prefer, but my preference isn’t to mix this too much. Oh yes absolutely, Olaplex would suit you amazingly to help restore the hydration from a molecular level, but if that’s a little out of budget the Pureplex treatment is a great alternative as intense treatments (I have a review on this on my channel) - I have loads of hair mask reviews which would help, I used to have the most brittle hair and they help incredibly - my hair mask playlist might help you with the selection depending on what you’d like to spend ☺️
