- During the covid pandemic (2 1/2 years) I was in a province in the Philippines. While there we built over 25 C.R's (toilets) and built and repaired many homes and distributed food and other essential items thanks to this youtube channel and the subscribers. Congrats! My wife and I did all the paperwork for her immigration as well without a lawyer. We went with a spouse visa though, since I didnt have adequate income for the previous years, and being already married was the only way to be able to have a co-sponser to meet the income requirements. We got married in Cebu, then started the paperwork once I got a good job here in the US. It was a lot of work, but it definitely helps when you have TONS of evidence of your relationship. My wife keeps receipts of everything, so we had record of my trips and our conversations for the years before. Congratulations again!
Btw, from our experience, I believe Reche will be able to come back to Philippines easily once you are married and her green card is processed, you just need to make sure you're not out of the US for more than 365 days, even then, you can apply for an entry permit to potentially get back in if you are gone more than a year, but you will need to prove she has continuing ties to the US and plans on living in the US still. Now to get citizenship, I believe she will need to live in the US for 3 consecutive years, so if you come back to Philippines for over a year, that 3 year count will restart from the beginning. You also shouldn't plan on coming to the US just for short visits, because they will start to question if you really intend on staying in the US and could deny entry.There are rules with immigration, but so much is up to the individual agent at the border, so be nice and polite and professional with the immigration officers, they literally can deny you entry without a reason. Not to scare you, though lol. Have more documentation than you need, and keep it VERY organized.

Congrats! Need to get married in the US and start filling for temporary immigrants. After 3 years, she can apply for permanent residency provided both of you are still together. She can apply for US citizenship after 5 years. Richie can go home to Philippines not to exceed 6 months. If she stays in the Philippines more than 6 months, can be considered abandonment of immigrants. Richie can study nursing in the US. I finished my nursing in the US at the age of 35. Now, I'm earning over 100K with all the overtime and may work 2 jobs.

Congratulations to Reche👏 when you arrive in your first port of entry in the US. there’s still that final interview by the immigration officer in the booth for entry. When asked if you are planning to get married soon, say yes for sure. Don’t give them the idea you’re only planning to stay short and go back to your country right away once you get married. Give them the impression you and your fiancé will get married soon and intend to build a life together in the US

I remember I was very excited too when I got my visa. When I came here it was so different . I didn’t know anyone yet and there was no one to talk to cause everybody works here😂😂 that was almost a decade ago. anyway congrats Rechee. Get married right away don’t wait for 90 days so you guys can process for green card cause it might take less than a year not really sure about the duration of the processing now. Plus you can’t leave the US finance visa is a one time entry you need a green card to leave and go back to the States. You can leave but you can’t come back.

Dustin you weren’t supposed to open to packet that way. The yellow envelope needs to be in the plastic still. There’s some video in TH-cam how to do it right but it’s already done . Try to pack it with the plastic it came with, just a heads up some immigration officers are pretty strict with that.

Once you receive the yellow envelope with your passport inside, do not touch the envelope. Instead, carefully open it to remove the passport and then reseal the envelope using transparent tape.

Once she is married and gets her green card she can travel unless it has changed. My niece did. She went back to visit. After 5 years she will get a US passport. Then once she gets that she can file dual citizenship. Hope this helps. So Happy for you three!!
