Summary of Animatic // and possessed!AU:
This Animatic is based on my w i l d idea of “what may and may not happen” in future and many of personal & adopted head-canons I stumbled upon during my “The Arcana” fandom journey. For this animatic, I used my fan apprentice - Glacien (they /them), romancing Julian. Also, this Alternative Universe takes place in the future, some time after the Chapter DEATH (thus, Jules is missing his mark).
With the Plague spreading like wildfire again, Red Beetles appearing around whole Vesuvia and Courtiers being up to no good at all , characters unfortunately separate during very dangerous situation.
MC (Glacien) is left completely alone.
Lucio seizes his moment and with intention to bring Devil into the Real World in its full form, he lures Glacien into trap - resulting in them loosing the body and being entrapped in the Card Realm - and Lucio/Devil regaining control over them. Now possesed, Glacien return to Castle - to perform ritual along with other non-human Courtiers, to gain more life force energy to bring Devil back.
Nadia, worried about MC and city, goes with Glacien voluntary. Not only to observe situation but try to talk some sense into them and see their motives (and why would they betray others after what they’ve been through together) - only to see through the mask and find out it’s Lucio, who tries to perform the magical Ritual. And trust me, our beloved Countess won’t just sit there letting him to do that. N E V E R.
Julian, Portia, Nadia’s sisters and Mazelinka end up in the town together, Chandra ‘informing’ them about the situation in the caste. Julian, remembering the words of apprentice (“You’ll save me in the future” option in Julian’s romance route) finally decides to overcome his doubts and fight for the better future - for him, for apprentice, for people he cares for.
Asra, reminiscing on the past and the origin of MCs new body (according to the head-canon that the card Fool is basically Apprentice materialized in the Real World) and Muriel join the forces too.
Asra won’t let that persistent Goat and the Plague it’s carrying to steal his family from him again. Not Glacien, not Nadia, not Julian or any others.
Julian, Nadia and Asra are ready to fight Devil with all they’ve got.
And Glacien, sensing the courage and the strong will of others decide that they just won’t sit back in the Card Realm and watch the catastrophe to unravel. And well, this decision might be supported by the three very important Card Spirits…. right?

When I was making this animatic I've never imagined it could have such a huge response - and I'm honestly still surprised about it.
But all of your support honestly means a lot to me. You are all blessing, this fandom is blessing and I love you guys.
You are awesome!
2) "How does this possesed!AU continue? Did you come up with something after the story of this animatic?"
I have short fan fiction in works, so it's possible once it's finished I'll update description with it. We shall see.
3) "Who is the fluffy one with glasses?"
As stated in description, it's my apprentice, Glacien! Glacien is the mischievious person that is and was always up for any adventure. Favorite flower is Sunflower, drink matcha tea and food... Well - gummy worms. Which is kind of funny since they hate real worms. Friendly and cheerful - but also they are pretty stubborn and they have talent to get in trouble on the worst occasion possible thanks to it. They aren't very good with cards and readings to be honest (they tend to mess up a lot when they aren't 100% focused - most of the time) but fire magic is their passion. Even tho' they may seem rather playful and absolutely no serious at all, Glacien dislikes when someone waves their ideas off while discussing the serious stuff™. They love to dance, walk in the fields around Vesuvia, adventures, writing journals and it's possible they have huge collection of colorful feathers they find all around city and they often use these as accessories ("Glacien, you can't pick that up, nO THIS IS TRASH-"). Any yep, they are romancing Julian!
4) "Any other animatics?"
I have OC one in works (you can already find a preview on my channel), I'm thinking about Hamilton one and I know that most of people mean if I have any Arcana in work and the answer is simple: YES. Angst incoming my people. What I can say -

But I have to warn you that I am myself pretty new to this whole thing (this was the first Animatic I made - and tbh half of time I didn't know what I was actually doing. So I was just trying out most of the things and saw how it turned out.). Also I am unfortunately using Windows but I still hope this will be helpful at least a bit.
I'm drawing in Photoshop CS6 - that's where I drew all of the frames (1920x1080 so I could render this as HD). Layers are gonna be your best friend during your animatic journey. Or... At least they were mine. :D I always made a background first and then added new layer to draw characters. And dont forget to make copies of your background - it will help you if you had to redraw character's pose or something (no need to draw background again, it will be more consistent). Also. I recommend to not use only white background. Try different colors, lightnings and so on. Don't be afraid to make experiments! ✨
As for editing, I'm using Sony Vegas for it. Almost all the transitions /effects in video you can see here were made in the program as well as some coloring (last frame / the one when Glacien turns and there is Lucio's goat behind them). Mostly, I used "rendering to New Track " for some sequences when I needed to zoom in/out in the moments the characters were speaking or doing something. There is plenty of tutorials on TH-cam for and I really recommend to look at them - they helped me a lot. I'm sure you will learn by them in no time.
Personally I can recommend video "How I make animatics" by Szin - As it helped me to understand basics.
