Trumptards... the cult of typically crass, uneducated, ineducable, paranoid, dimwitted, willfully gullible, unreachable, and extremely manipulable individuals who are in emotional thrall to their god-king Dear Leader... view trump as their path to unbridled social dominance.
Trumptards are Authoritarian Personalities exhibiting Social Dominance Orientation. (Please look these terms up.) As authoritarian personalities, they are natural-born authoritarian bullies. They require an authoritarian leader like trump, who becomes a father figure to them... Daddy trump... and to whom they are highly subservient. That's why they are okay with him being a dictator or even a king. Many view him as "sent by God" and some even believe that he may himself be divine. Trump has suckered these poor dupes into believing he is a "strongman", when sane people recognize the thin-skinned malignant narcissist for what he is... a blowhard bully.
Trumptards literally fell in love with Daddy trump because he promised them social dominance. He said it was legally okay to hate and discriminate against people "not like them" and to shove their religious "morality" down everyone else's throats. He made it so that they could dominate women, under the guise of abortion restrictions. And, when he promised them retribution, they had a collective orgasm. Currently, they are salivating at the prospect of personally participating in Mango Mussolini's roundups of "vermin"... trigger fingers twitching.
Trumptards are actually paranoid, terrified of anything new, different, or changing. Trump feeds their paranoia by demonizing immigrants as animals. But, trump has emboldened them by making them feel special and superior, calling them "patriots", such that they now feel entitled to socially dominate. Their innate hatred of "others" is their driving force. Their selfishness is also on full display, disguised as America First.
Trumptards live in a willfully ignorant universe of pure fantasy, a fantasy world, an echo chamber of "alternate facts" and looney conspiracy theories, in order to preserve their image of Orange Jesus as the perfect man with perfect words and accomplishments who loves America, loves democracy, and, above all, who loves them as much as they love him. Being dumb as a box of rocks, trumptards could not see the truth if it but them on the ass. And, they are master projectionists. Paranoid trumptards view anything they do not understand as a conspiracy. Because they are so stupid, they do not realize that the sane world sees right through the Orange Treason Weasel and them. There can be no "fixing" trumptards, because they do not feel broken. They aren't really lying... they are deluded into believing every syllable that Orange Foolius squeezes incoherently out of his butthole-shaped mouth. They see him as "one of them", which he truly is, but in only two sad ways... he is dimwitted and a bully.
So, trumptards will never abandon their Daddy trump. Having had a taste of social dominance, in the words of a certain little girl vampire, THEY WANT MORE!!! And, by God, they intend to have more through trump no matter what... even at the cost of American democracy, ignorantly and gullibly marching headlong into a swamp of no return.
Trumptards are (falsely) aggrieved, vengeful, armed, and dangerous. When it becomes clear that their fat orange buffoon will not be appointed King of America, trumptards are going to revolt. And, the Republican legislators who back trump are fully comfortable with that.

After WW2, the Frankfort School of Philosophy crafted a theory that there are people who have Authoritarian Personalities.
Traits include:
Characterized by rigid black and white thinking
An obsession with sexual immorality
A jealous preoccupation with social status
Fear of ambiguity
A high value placed on obedience to authority
From existential philosophers:
A way for people to flee from their own freedom and responsibility
Obviating them from the need to make difficult choices and wrestle with the deeper problems of existence
Authoritarian leaders tell them that they are better than people of other races or nationalities
High levels of disgust prompting authoritarian responses
Conservatives value loyalty, authority, and sanctity (related to disgust)
Social Dominance Orientation has been developed in the 1990s by a group of authors led by Jim Sidanius and Felicia Pratto (Pratto, Sidanius, Stallworth, & Malle, 1994; Sidanius & Pratto, 1999).
SDO is a personality trait measuring an individual's support for social hierarchy and the extent to which they desire their in-group be superior to out-groups. People who oppose group-based dominance in general will support social and political policies and practices that promote low-power (not low-status) groups.
It refers to situations in which an individual or a group controls or dictates others' behavior, primarily in competitive situations, while they tend to see the world as a competitive place (a “jungle”) in which people struggle for resources and power. This stems partly from their innate selfishness.
High-SDO people and Authoritarian Personalities are theorized to be relatively conservative, racist, ethnocentric, and prejudiced, and they show little empathy for lower-status others. They show traits like aggression, intimidation, and coercion.

I can tell you that America was ALWAYS considered the best country in world. A world leader that stood for and fought for democracy and helped other countries and their people to keep it when the threat of Communism or power hungry dictators are near. A melting pot of a country where people were welcoming and respectful of others. But now? I am heartbroken to see how one man, a blatant, pathological liar and convicted criminal has so easily torn this country apart and for what? Certainly not for America because if he TRULY cared, he would have peacefully conceded in 2020 to unselfishly allow the country to move forward and heal. But here we are with people who, when faced with questions and reality about Trump, can't answer other than "doesn't matter, I'm voting for him, anyway". The generation that survived WWII and said that history MUST NOT repeat itself, is almost all gone. Trump, like Hitler and other world dictators is taking full advantage of that loss.
