I'm going with Weisco pistons and K1 rods with ported heads. I cNt find and dyno pulls on a Stang that is similar to tell me if it's worth it to build the 4.6l 2v or just swap it.
With cams and headers if you have the rods and pistons you're talking about you'll be able to make real good power with a 2v and it'll sound killer. The boost noises with a cammed 2v breathing through headers is gonna be quite the ear candy. You'll be able to make 500-600+ to the wheels easily depending on the power adder. The 2v can make plenty of power they're limited on stock bottom end mostly because of the rods. @midnight347 Very true. I looked at the numbers and what it costs to build the 4.62v to handle strong reliable power was going to cost way more then the Ls3 i am swapping it in now. What’s your typical AFR range in boost at WOT on a stock bottom end like the one in this video?
11.5 to 12.0 depending on RPM
@@BrenspeedEngineering I really appreciate the answer, I’m running a very similar build in a crown Vic with manual trans.
My AFRs are close to what you just said, I see a ton of people running in the low 11s 10s saying “safe tune”
u keep saying 404.28 "REAR WHEEL HORSE POWER" ...but dyno says "404.28 Horse Power @ ENGINE"... which one is it? because it matters.... Ive got 2000 GT with the Windsor 4.6 PI engine that is Factory rated at 260 HP at the motor. I have BBK long tubes, off road H pipe, pully set, American Muscle CAI, and a Diablo early model programmer sitting in a box in front of me to be put on. I expect with the above parts listed I should be 300 hp @ Engine and I Hope a $4k 2V Supercharger can make 404.28 Rear Wheel Horse Power if the motor is making 300 hp
This video explains dyno numbers. Here is a link. th-cam.com/video/IklrZe20_Ao/w-d-xo.html
It says engine RPMS not at engine
Alldat money should have just coyote swap dat bullet mustang. What a waist of time putting a supercharger and intake.
Some people love these cars and the 2V. Some people love Coyote's.
Coyote swaps done right costs a ton of money. This is the cheaper way for about the same power out of the box.
And with Manley rods & pistons, you can crank the lower to make so a good 500+ to the wheels with that entry blower.
Coyote swaps dont cost alot of money.
@@nissanbrown6144 yeah, if you everything used and tired out and compromise here and there, yeah, it’s can be fairly cheap.
Depends how hillybilly heaven the owner wants it be
Love your videos!! You mentioned you watch 4.6 2v on the dyno with no graphs.. You might like my 2v dyno pull with graphs and data log. TH-cam RumbleCanada
