Young college girls were still attracted to him despite his older age, because he still looked like he was in college himself.

Obviously, it depends on the people involved, what their intentions are, emotional maturity levels, socioeconomic status sometimes, etc.. It depends on a lot of factors. I dated some guys who were in their forties when I was in my early twenties, but the physical attraction wasn't there for me.

Yes, they do have a _base_ maturity that kicks in around 14 (which they need to have since they can be made pregnant and thus become mothers, mother nature made it such for a reason, also, peak fertility for women clusters around 16-17) but beyond that base maturity they do not mentally mature much. Why? Well, it doesn't make sense for nature to remove the primary nurturer too far off from the offspring emotionally, because it would limit/harm the bonding between them, the bonding that is essential to the child's survival. So women essentially remain somewhere in their mid teens, in terms of emotional maturity.
There you have it now you know. You see, there were sound reasons for why men throughout history never allowed their women to vote. Kind of makes sense doesn't it.
