A good alternative to AKAI Professional's APC40 MKII, is the MPK 249. It may not offer as many pads, but the addition of a piano keyboard further supports its use for MetaSounds compositions.
Thanks Ricardo. I appreciate your effort and obvious knowledge. I have been intrigued by midi for awhile but have limited knowledge. As a director I used to have others doing all the tech, and I have dived full in to learn all this tech myself and take away the middle man to just be more creative on my own. I have a Korg Nanocontrol studio I use dor mixing in Adobe premiere thst I would love to use in Unreal, and a MIDI fighter twister I have used a little for color correction in Davinci. I also have a Zhiyun remote, follow focus and crane 2 I would love love love to set up with some automation in unreal somehow. It is a little daunting for me although I eagerly await the next installment. Cheers!
I've meet many DPs that got into Virtual Production, and that is always something good. I think we came to the point where technology is more accessible for non-tech people, and again, that's always something good. The more feedback we have the more we can improve these tools. I don't want to over-complicate the final product. The idea is to reach to photographers and independent filmmakers with a Plug-And-Play solution. I will give you that. But at the same time I want to educate other developers and document everything so other developers can improve the workflow and the final product. That's the beauty of Open Source.
@@RamirosLab my apologies. I type too fast, Ramiro. Yes I have found I need to straddle being a creative person and a developer/techie. It’s very important to have a working guide for others to follow. Thanks again for taking he meticulous effort to do so. 🤓
I've experienced these flickering issues, to fix them you have to increase the "bounds scale" in the details panel of the mesh. Here is a video that explains further: th-cam.com/video/QDxh6Tj2-f8/w-d-xo.html
THIS IS THE PART 2 (JUST IN CASE YOU CAN'T FIND IT):

Very cool! Thanks!
I'm using a Korg Nano Kontrol II, so this is right up my alley.
Subbed! Thank you 🙏
Thanks!

I think I try that, but since is a dynamic mesh it wasn't working properly.
