What is the difference with the quad s4?
I had them in the past en they were very emotional with voices but missed a little spark if you now what I mean.
I play piano and think in the future the z3 can be a good upgrade.
I have now kef r3 with Nad c298, c658 and its also very good.
Would the stereo amp work well with a Primaluna pre into Graham Audio LS 5/9 ?
How are the Quad Artera pre and end with the Z3? Did you compare other amps with the Z3? I have the Z2 and the XTZ Edge amp and Schiit Saga+ preamp, but the Z2 are capable of more.... so I am looking into another pre amp and possible end amp.

confused between buying castle avon 5 and quad s4. please help me decide. i listen to vocal music so please let me know which one is good for vocal jazx and other vocal music
I think both very good speakers. You have to listen and decide yourself for the best result. Quad has ABR box design so it can be more room friendly.

@@sairamvenkatesh7521Did you make your choice meanwhile? When it comes to drivers and crossovers there is really not of differences between them. Tweeter is the same with just different face plates applied. The S-4 can be considered room-friendly, too as it uses passive radiators so does not exhaust too much. Both offer a clean sound with sweet and detailed treble but do like to be hammered as overall capacity of their drivers is limited. These are rather delicate speakers.
